  2. Hi, just bought a Yishun 5I resale. Possible to pm me your Reno cost? Thanks.
  3. I bought mine during the 2002 WIS (Walk in Selection) period. Those were the times when flats built liao nobody want, WIS still can find #20 floors 5 room flat at Sembawang. Bought at 200k and can move in immediately.
  4. At $450 psf buy all the units and go for enbloc better.
  5. Why is there a need to wait until MOP then can buy?
  6. I will never keep a L99 yrs condo for more than 15 yrs.
  7. For renting out purposes I will only consider L99 yrs condo. This is because 99-year leasehold properties enjoy higher rental yields than freehold ones as they usually cost less. A property's tenure - freehold or leasehold - does not affect the rental value as much as it does the price.
  8. Yes. But seems like the psf for this EC is as high or maybe higher than the nearby condos. So if buying for investment might as well buy the nearby resale condos instead?
  9. Nice reno, can pm me how much did you pay for the reno? Thanks.
  10. By 2018 Seletar Aerospace Park will be compeleted. Maybe just in time to rent to those expats? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seletar_Aerospace_Park
  11. Yes, you may buy another resale hdb and rent/sell the EC.
  12. This will only encourage more buyers to take their loan from bank instead.
  13. So does it means if currently OA+SA+inv = $145k Can use 83.5k as deposit for the resale hdb? Spouse doesn't have more than 61.5k for (OA+SA+inv), so only planning only to use one party.
  14. If i'm intending to buy a resale HDB now. Does it mean if my OA+SA is more than 61.5k, i can still use my cpf to service the monthly loans for the two properties?
