  1. Hi guys, sorry to bring up this old thread. I'm facing a problem here... Unit under renovation right now, and we are looking at getting Opennet to install the TP at where our TV console is, which is further in and has a left turn before it reach that wall. We have 2 beams near the doorway as well -- but with an existing hole made by ex-owner for his SCV. As far as I understand, Fibre optic cables cannot have sharp bends, Electrician suggested that Opennet may run the Fibre Optics cable along the skirting of our hall, but that means, it will have 2 sharp 90 degree bends. -- one from doorway turning left across our mirror -- then turn right to our TV console wall. I wanted to run a uPVC conduit along our big hall's false ceiling thus minimising that bend, with only 1 left bend (make it 45degrees) but Electrician gonna charge me $200+ for that.... So i figured if that's the case why not get Opennet to come install, since it gonna cost the same and they can run the trunking first before our false ceiling goes up. Opennet CS mentioned they will not do anything drastic like drill the big beam to have the cables go through. (Pending HDB confirmation about whether we can drill one more hole to accommodate the Fibre Optics cable -- 20mm conduit / trunking) Kindly advise. Thank you.
  2. Any picture of this 1/2" female to 3/8" male reducer?
  3. Can elaborate on special screw head for Taps from USA Amazon? Thanks!
  4. Thanks! You very chim leh... Ok, our new place, Morning sun will shine into the windows of all rooms and hall -- but seems that afternoon sun will not come in at all... so it will be a bit dark -- especially the design of the unit is as such that above the balcony there's a roof ledge protruding (top floor), thus blocking the sun --- maybe from noon onwards ? So you don't see the House's Kua -- whether to fit our Personal Gua? LOL I'm very much confused in this... We viewed quite a number of houses already, some with N-S facing but sadly for some... Master Bed Room wall kenna west sun, which is no good..... My parameters : As long as no 煞气! Afternoon sun don't shine into the hall / bedrooms -- no west sun heating up my masterbed room wall. I would have very much like a house with N-S facing but it has to be with East Rooms (I don't mind morning sun shining onto the wall of the masterbed room), however no luck finding such a house, so had to settle with the current one we got with East Facing / West Sitting (Balcony and 3 rooms' windows -- all facing East, Kitchen and maindoor facing / located West). Will take a look at those articles in your dropbox!
  5. Thanks for your clarifications! Haha, cos all I can understand is about the Personal Kua, and the favourable vs unfavourable directions for this kua. Other items, no time to go read yet. All I know is for Personal Kua, can be practiced in each room --- placement of objects in the favourable directions to activate. IF House Gua don't match the Personal Kua person, then the house no good? Kua 4 supposed to be N facing S sitting house for best effect. But what we bought now is E Facing, W sitting house. (Externally the view on the facing side is very good -- view of Flyover of Expressway + Condo buildings in the far far distant, no bad omen like Petrol stations -- 火煞 )
  6. Hi everyone, We are not staunch believers of fengshui, somemore no recommendations from friends, its very hard to qualify if that particular FSM we hire is good for us. Its a few hundred $$$ for the audit... So how do you actually qualify before hiring a FSM? I have read that for our Kua number, certain facings are good and should activate those facings / directions -- but that is based on personal kua 4. Do you think its necessary to engage an FSM? And House Kua vs Personal Kua... how to use together? For our new house, its Facing East, Sitting West, Main Door located in West -- unit is on 10th floor -- so use the most windows / balcony as the facing. (I read somewhere -- its not so good for Kua 4??, but we quite like the place) Kindly advise, dear experts! LOL Regards Faustine
  7. Hmm, After reading the thread, I'm still lost whether to arrange for FSM anot...... Don't know whether to believe anot.... haha.. Also, worried if hire the wrong one, will become negative effect...
  8. Anyone has Marcus' Renzz's quote to share? Thread Starter not active anymore... and we are possibly engaging Marcus soon.
  9. Me too... about to get my keys this December, might need to hack one or two walls. Please send me the PE contact.
  10. Just Otped for a resale flat.. looking for a fsm for peace of mind and some positive changes for my fiance's career and health. May I have the good and bad fsm list via pm please? (Someone should put the lists in a Blog for all to see!) Thanks.
  11. Melaniessl : Any updates on your Reno? We are also looking at engaging #Renzz... We are very concerned with workmanship and their service quality... So far we've seeked #SkyCreation+DC & #Renzz quotation, and only Marcus was quite communicative so far. None from #SkyCreation+DC since 31st Oct 14. There were quite a few who try to engage us in the quotes via Renotalk's ask a quote -- but most are without HDB licensing or with Dubious background in their Main company holding the license. LOL
  12. How was the workmanship? I'll love to get a copy of your detailed quotation with Marcus. Will send you my email add in PM.
  13. That just goes to show --- how much effort they put into their website and how much effort they will put into our ID needs Btw, they are not registered under HDB licensed contractor, so I'm also not sure if I should engage and talk to them...... We much preferred HDB licensed ones... Any thoughts?
