I vote for Layout B. By the way, I think each shelf panel is adjustable, if you need to store a big tall box, just need to remove 1 or 2 panels to create the space.

A forumer has installed this type of shelves, see blog http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?au...blogid=220& It said $150.

I'm trying to show A sample of metal storage rack. How to upload pics? I click [insert image] but it prompt for a URL

One contractor told me if we remove that metal thing, it can't be reuse due to the dismantling. Not sure how true is it. But if it can be reused, maybe can install above the kitchen window (I mean inside the kitchen, don't think we are allow to put it outside right.) But then, think there's built in water pipes

Some of you already have plans to sell the place! I don't know yet, maybe I'd love the place so much I couldn't bear to sell it. What matters now is, this is my first new flat, so I hope to reno it nicely that's why even thinking to re-lay the kitchen and toilets flooring. But think I can dream on, sure burst budget le...haha

dorcas, Convenient to share the layout of ur WIW? I wanted one too but so far, none of the IDs is able to design a WIW in the so small MBR without sacrificing the 2 bedside small tables.

I've met FuxxCxxx, Cixxx, and OxxxCxxx for quotation. Quite impressed with Cixxx ideas but don't like their sales talk, rather pushy. *Sigh* still waiting to see the revised/full quotation... redbottle, OIC, our flat comes with concealed cold/hot water pipping har. Will take note of this and ensure ID won't overcharged me. dorcas, 22ft wardrobe, this is huge I must say! Not doing anything to the toilets? I'm quite disappointed that the layout does not allow a big vanity top.

Those having 85sqm flat, I have a quote from one ID, wondering if this is reasonable? Any comments? homogenous gloss 2ft x 2 ft tiles for living room, bomb shelter, foyer area Kronotex laminate flooring for 3 bedrooms homogenous matt 2ft x 2 ft tiles for kitchen total: $5500 Supply & lay hot/cold stainless or copper piping to 2 toilets and 1 kitchen - $1,200 Is this ok too? (By the way, I'm going for the free gas water heater)

Hi Mercury, Have you started your reno? Any updates or photos? I got a quotation from Vincent, but have not decided which ID to sign yet, still exploring -
Hi xlan, how's your ID's quote last Sunday? My flat is 85 same as yours. Think definately will remove the clothes hanger to make space for sink and dish drying rack. I will also go for the free gas heater, the whole thing looks ok, not too bulky. But where will you install it? Inside toilet or kitchen?

Hi xlan, Thanks for the link! I didn't know about it, as I just joined this forum recently. I'm from Singaporemotherhood forum.

Hi xlan, My new flat is in the same place as you too. And my floor plan is the mirror look of yours. Am thinking of the same kitchen layout (the first one). I've sought 1 ID only and found him not very good, will look for a few to compare.
