  1. I love how your bathroom tiles look! Really classy feel. And oh, if you're looking g for sofas.. try htl sofa outlet. I got mine there, super comfy and huge!
  2. BTW, i just heard my ID is going to change companies in the near future.. so his price can be cheaper!
  3. Review on my ID Pros: We found him easy to talk to, listened to our ideas and upgraded them to something better. He tried.. really, really, really tried to keep to our budget. If his charge was high, he would give an alternative or suggest another shop. Honest ID, which we appreciate a lot.He is flexible, and dont mind to give discounts and freebies! Yay!Can ask for many2 3D designs, and change design any number of times.Cons: I had to remind him a few times on whatsapp for things. Need a bit of chasing also. (but! things got done)Our ideas that he 'upgraded' sometimes never tell us. We came to check and were confused. ahaha but we like it better than our original so yarrrrOur reno was delayed a week plus coz of some mismeasurement and stuff. But that was his contractor faultOverall we didnt have much problems with him, everything was smooth sailing with minor bumps. We DIYed a lot, and he didnt show he was unhappy or anything. He accepted that we had a strict budget, and was mindful in not overquoting us or trying to upsell anything. Also, he is not a Yes man. if cannot, he will say cannot.
  4. My reno is complete! Penfing handover. We moved in right after voting actually, lol. Now we're slowly cleaning and unpacking. Now, on to pictures! Outside Living room
  5. my TV has an inbuilt sound system, so wont be getting any. I have a 47inch smart LED toshiba in my living room, and 42inch smart 3d philips tv in my MBR =D

  9. Sofa Shopping Initially, I was dead set on purchasing a sofa piece from Castlery. I love their designs, especially their new ones. But dunno why I kept delaying placing and order. Then one fine day, a helpful neighbour shared a link to Sofa Outlet. I fell in love with a monster sofa, and the price was unbelievable. Since it was the last piece they had, we went all the way to Gul Circle. Omg, its so far and hot and we were worried we might meet Tuas Checkpoint instead. But the trip was well worth the effort. We purchased a 2.86m fabric sofa for $599 +$80 delivery. Best buy ever! no pic coz i wasnt allowed to take pictures there. They do custom-made pieces as well as leather ones. If you check in at the place on FB and show them, you'll get a free gift PER CHECK IN.

  13. haha thank you! took me days to decide which fans to purchase. difference is a LOT. like my living room fan is about $159 without shipping, with shipping nearly $200? In sg it costs about $600-1k, if im not wrong. so really huge savings for us!
  14. hello! i got the elmark fan from tampoi for abt 400-500RM i think. should be way cheaper now with the exchange rate hahah
  15. We opted out of our doors, coz HDB wanted to give us these ugly white doors for bedrooms AND toilets. which didnt make sense coz water+wood= trouble. So, we gt doors from Siong doors at a great group discount buy. 3 bedroom doors and 1 bifold. And my MBR toilet door from Jia Glass. I love the door to bits. A bit regret never do the same for my common toilet door, but oh well!
  16. For my living room, initially we REALLY wanted a brickwall. I wanted to buy craftstone bricks and get the contractor to fix. But after a while, hubby and I thought the price was not worth it and the cleaning would be a super bother. then i came across this WONDERFUL product on qoo10. it costs less than 10% of what the real craftstone wall would cost, and looks 98% similar i would say. so after one hour, my living room feature wall looks like this now =)
  17. Lights and fans all came from taobao (except my pendant light, impulse buy from tampoi) I bought 8 downlights for my whole house, 4 square LED lights (for bathrooms, service yard and bomb shelter), 2 rectangle lights for kitchen and MBR. For fans, two fan with lights for bedroom 2 and 3, and one for living room. Bought an elmark fan for my kitchen too =D for kitchen Bedroom fan Living room fan Pendant lights from tampoi (about 150rm)
  18. Painting, grilles, lighting and fans are up! Also, my 3k tb loot came. I have 4 items missing tho.. sigh Anyway, let the pictures do the talking =D MBR (Wall quiet lake, ceiling blue swirl) Montessorie room (Wall strawberry ice and quiet lake, ceiling blue swirl) Man cave (wall volcanic black, ceiling and wall hot shot) Skirting and door frames all in volcanic black
  19. Tiling for the cabinet base has started and my aircon from CT aircon installed! We were quite impressed by the tiler's skills . Very very neat looking. And the CT Aircon guys were fast and efficient. We bought the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries system 3. After offsetting with the freebies, we paid a total of $2695. We wanted to move in by National Day weekend, but Jason told us that many of his clients are rushing due to 7th month. So... since our need wasnt a pressing need, I guess we can wait till 3rd or 4th week of August.
  20. Finally got around to taking pictures of my unit. A bit sad at the small kitchen and MBR, but we'll get over it haha Living area Kitchen Corridor walkway Bedroom Common toilet MBR
