As for the rest of my beloved immediate neighbours, I just received a letter from HDB informing us that we they would contact us shortly for key collection. Coupled with the fact that all the windows for blk 26B is locked. But as for the homepage, it is still the same. Let you all know when there are more concrete news from HDB.

Hi Neighbours, We should be getting the keys to our units soon! HDB has written to us to submit all concessionary loan details. Finally we can be more active in this thread. Just some advice from all of you; Which bank is currently offering the most attractive renovation loan at the moment? Just a short recap in case we missed this previously. Thank you all!

Hi Neighbour, So glad you are keeping us updated on the progress of block 26B. So when do you think is the earliest we should be getting our keys? Any advice from all of you out there??? Really anxious cos we really want to move in by CNY 08, which is on the 7th Feb.

Keep me updated once you received any info from HDB ok. Likewise I will do the same. I am sure lots of our neighbours here are more well informed than us. Went to a few ID since but none of them seems to be very keen in coming back liao because we kept saying we have no idea when we will get the keys. Nevertheless we are happy to know that most of us here are having lots of fun with moving in to this wonderful estate. Just keeping my fingers crossed for moving in before CNY next year!!! !!

Hi Neighbours, Hi Dorcas, Any news for 26B? Any indication from the workers there? Seems like the 1st Oct deadline for the main contractor for the whole estate will not be adhere to. Just hoping to start my reno by Christmas! Ho Ho Ho!

Yep! I want to have CNY reunion dinner in my new house then. Very anxious now. Hope all friendly neighbours can update us once someone is getting keys to their block. Btw I am from 26B, should be the last few.

I am from the SERS, so dont think there are any special privileges awarded to us. It really depends on the progress I guess. Just a bit disappointed that my 26B is way behind completion while most people are already having fun with their renovation liao.

Hi neighbours, Went to look at the progress of my block 26B yesterday. Soooo slow. Happened to speak to the security officer there. Was complaining about the progress, he said, "Dont worry la, the construction company will be LDed, $10,000 per day if they missed the completion target of 1st October 2007." $10,000 is not much from a profit of $40,000,000 for the whole project. ;( Not very comforted cos looking at the progress, I honestly doubt my block as well as the rest of the fixtures and facade will be ready by 1st October. Thought I would be spending my Christmas there, now I am praying hard to get my home ready for "Gong Xi Fa Cai" next year. Nevertheless, early neighbours can organize the BBQ so we can celebrate being neighbours soon.

Hi Nemofc, Was thinking whether to reveal or not. Just wanted to clarify so that you might not have the impression that the unit you saw was 85 sqm. Then again, it might be a different uncle also. But you are absolutely right that its a blessing to get a unit here. Also want to thank the owners of the unit for giving me some ideas about my future dream house.

Hi Nemofc, The unit I saw is #19-100. Should be the same unit you saw too. Seems like it is the show unit for all of us. Went thru the price list and it is 90 sqm, not 85 sqm. Ha ha I really cant imagine what 85 sqm would be like. Nevermind, just contented to be living in the prime estate with friendly neighbours. Smaller means easier to maintain too. btw Nemofc, you play soccer? Nemo Football Club??? Just curious?

Hi Neighbours, Went to the estate today 12 plus. There are lots of uncles near blk 25A. Seems like they are contractors who are more than happy to show you around either 4 or 5 room units depending on your preferences. An uncle showed us a unit on the 19th floor. 4 room 90 sqm. A bit disappointed because the unit is smaller than what we had anticipated. Our unit is at Blk 26B 4 room and it is 85 sqm so it is even smaller. Dont think our initial plan of having a walk in wardrobe in the MBR can materialize. Even a raised platform at the end of the living may have to go. A cleaner even left the rooftop access door open when we "accidentally" took the lift with him to the 24th floor. Manage to sneak up to Blk 25A's rooftop to take a breather and enjoy the scenic view of the area. Hope you all meet the cleaner there when you are visiting. Lastly, for my immediate neighbours at 26B, dont think we are getting the keys any sooner cos I can see from the rooftop that most of the fixtures in our units are not even installed yet. What a disappointment! Enjoy your excursion to Jalan Membina!

Hi friendly neighbours, Hi dunkmycar, noellechua, lynnnie, dorcas My wife and I are staying at Blk 26B too. Any idea when we will be getting our keys? Spoke to our friendly HDB officer today, she just said, "Should be 4th Quarter 2007, Sir, Thank you, Sir". My heart sank..... Seems like we cant be the first to organize a BBQ at our Rooftop Garden.

Hi All, I am so excited when my wife told me theres a thread talking about our future house. We are moving into Blk 26B. Waited for almost 5 years for this moment. 4room 85sqm. She said that some of our neighbours have gotten their keys. We really want to spend our christmas there. If not then CNY is a must must!!!. We are preparing now, just started looking at IDs before my sis in law recommended me this site. Kudos to lots of you fantastic people updating us with pictures and information about the estate. Keep those coming. For now, its ID shopping. Will be going down to expo this weekend with my floor plan. See you future neighbours around!!! As for rommie, my personal view is that this is a gooooood location and good estate. Think hard and consider all factors before making a decision. Hope that you can resolve your issues with flying colors! Cheers.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, This is my first post. Never been a forum person but I have heard that almost always, there are really sincere and kind people who are willing to share knowledges and give wonderful advices. I am currently going thru a "Getting ready my house" period. I am currently scouting for some contractors or ID to renovate my new house. 4-Room, 85 sqm, New Standard Unit, $30K for everything except Electrical Appliances and Furnitures. Would any kind souls out there share some knowhow or recommend some ID etc. I am going ID shopping tomorrow, Finally! Sincere thanks. !!
