  1. Recently I had a very bad experience with rinnai, while I was heating water, after 10 mins I heard a big sound from kitchen, I came to found the rinnai hob exploded, it poped up out of worktop, I scared if the whole kettle of boiling water pour down when anyone stood nearby. Fourtunately nobody hurt. I called Rinnai for help, their staff came to check what happened, they found nothing and didn't explain why did rinnai hob explode and how to avoid, but they still didn't forgot to ask charge service fee, I didn't agree, for home safety how can I use the rinnai hob anymore after such no reason explosion, and I ask for a solution. I did call gas supplier to check, the gas hose and valve all no leaking gas, but they still change the hose and valve for free. Out of my image, rinnai manager offered a ridiculous very special discount price $345 for replacement unit, but I enqired Rinnai dealer the same model only $305, how Rinnai treat customer like this, hope everybody consider carefully before choose any products like this.
