I will not like to comment on them yet as discussions are still in progress. But so far, I dun really like those from Reno Fair, as they use "pushy" sales tactics, and cannot feel their sincerity.

Hi Doremi, My frenz told me when we signed the contract, later can add on to the agreed price, but cannot reduce (almost impossible) So if they quote you a 10ft wardrobe and later at the site, they found can only do 6ft. They will then suggest to do other carpentry work to make up the extras, which actually are unnecessary. (btw, IMO i think it mean in my opinion) Hope that your kid do recover well soon.

Hi Redcrystal, 17K ?? Do you mean 27K? So far from most of the quotes I gathered, - overlaying of toilet tiles & wall,glass shower screen cost around 2.5K - if add vanity c/w cabinet and mirror is another 600~700. for each toilet. I am thinking to have the above for my MBR toilet. For my common toilet, i think will only do overlay and shower screen, because the basin is too near to the wooden door.

Nowadays ID start their quote from 30K onwards. I got a number of quotes but mostly quite useless... as the price seem to be anyhow quoted. For instance, one ID quote me a wardrobe (MBR) for S$5K. I doubt that my MBR can cater for such big wardrobe, but this ID insist "no problem" All the ID I visted, only do up to the layout planning, and follow up with a quotation. Some show 3D sketchup but are actually common templates they used. Actually IMO, from the layout planning, can tell whether the ID is sincere in your project. Not all will really scratch their head to calculate the space area and provide realistic layout.

For me, I will go for the max loan period, because the loan period can be shorten, but cannot extend, in the future. And interest rate will be rebate when loan period is shorten. no need to do cash top-up for my monthly loan payment. can still have fund left in my OA (after the 10% deduction) for investment will still be able to service the loan for at least 5 years without any cash-top, even in the event either me or my wife have zero monthly income for 1 year. I did not take any picture of the door. But briefly, the grilles are in copper brown with hues of black while the wooden door is in light brown with hues of red.. Me is hoping for a Dark Brown wooden door initially. Anyone here got key liao?? Can have sneak peep.....

Went down to the site lately and found that the flat design does not seem to allow laundry drying with bamboo poles (tek ko). Instead, it seem to suggest hanging of laundry with the built-in poles. The supplied main door and gates look a bit sianz. Do anyone know how the living rm connect to the kitchen, as I am considering to put a glass/wood door panel?
