This is a piece of good news. I'll be installing rain shower but comtemplating whether the Citigas gas heater is sufficient to power the rain shower. Could any kind neighbours who has already installed rain shower confirm that the water pressure is bearable.

wanted to do suspended kitchen cabinet too but my ID says that bcos got to run the water outlet pipe for the washing machine from one side of the wall to the other wall, if do suspended will see some of the exposed pipe. dunno whether you understand what i'm saying anot. best is if can see how you do it. weekends will be a good time. i'm sure others will be interested too. but dun worry, let us know when you will be there and we will suit your time.

nice place u have there. is your kitchen cabinet suspended? wanted to do it too but not sure whether possible or not. so envy of your kitchen. my kitchen is so small, can't even do a tall cabinet. !! btw can visit your place or not?

that is why we should choose id/contrator who has workshop in s'pore. not guarantee but a good precaution.

hi, i will be overlaying my toilets n kitchen flooring. i've asked my id to add water proofing compound to the adhesive cement at no extra chage. call it kiasu, but i'm not comfortable with the water proofing by HDB.

hi fellow JMian, anyone staying at level 10 - 15 at blk 26a - 26d? how is the water pressure like? thinking of installing rain shower but scared it will become drizzling shower.

i think it was done to prevent water spilling over to the foyer area, which most likely is homo tiles, when you do washing to your kitchen.

me hacking wall between MBR and BR. ID quoted me $550. not sure if amount pay is proportional to the no. of walls or total wall area to be hacked. actually feel that this PE thingy is quite bull****. can hack means can hack. cannot means cannot. why must PE endorsed?

talking about lift breakdown. i was at blk 26D last sat. one of the lift broke down while me and my SO were inside. panic. luckily it sort of "self recover" after a couple of minutes and slide slowly to the nearest level and thank god the door opened. quickly went out and took the other lift.

hi, according to my id, will need PE for hacking of walls. one of his company project is in JM and HDB says need PE. So likely mine will need also. He quoted me $550 for hacking of a wall.

me and my SO were at JM yesterday too. drop by your unit but there was no one at home. it was a last minute decision to drop by anyway. maybe next time we will drop by again.

me invited u-home, renozone, and a&d to quote. u-home did not respond, so dropped them. a&d quote is reasonable. but did not quote some of the items i asked for. so dropped them too. didn't arrange for meetup bcos was too tired after meeting many many ids. but they have quite good review in this forum. u may want to check them out. renozone is the one i finally appointed. why? quote reasonable but most importantly, the id delivered what he promised thus far. e.g. he say will give me the quote on monday and i will receive it in my mailbox on mon morning. he say will give me the drawings by sat, and on sat morning, i will receive them. hope this continues. if u r looking for contractors, u may also want to consider ho bee, inzen and boon siew. prices quite reasonable.

ya lor, not dangerous at all. else HDB won't approve one. i used to have one at my old place. u will hear a 'pop' sound when u on the hot water tap and u can see fire burning thru the small viewing window on the heater. other than that it's like a normal electric instant heater.
