Did Anyone Buy From Lion City Company Before?
simple13 replied to littlejun's topic in Electronics & Electricals
I believe she is the lady boss, pretty straight to the point. I asked on Fujioh and she juz said: We Dont Carry Fujioh but her tone was ok lah..... -
Hmm....have asked ard and replacing switches/sockets seems to be ard 20-25, along the line of wat ur electricain mentioned. Many tend to overlook electical portion cost...me too when I reno last dec....but in the end ok with the price, cant really run away unless u can ownself DIY
-
If you don mind grey as a middle colour..can go for Legrand brand switch; durable n beautiful but of coz more exp
-
Haha, we have the same philips cooker, bought mine during CNY sale this yr. Your reno looks gd; mine completed ard early Feb this year.

I used cement sink support for both my sink n stove support for my recently finished reno. Stove support is fully tiled whole sink is topped off with Quartz top. haha, too lazy to start a thread as I find renovaton very very tiring
-
Hi, My stove and sink support are both cast in-situ with concrete. In general, longer lasting; esp towards water. Only thing to note, the jointing area of the concrete to the wood built-in cabinet may not be as flushed/levelled and of cost the cost is higher.

Ohh..thank you thank you for your expert insights I opted for a quartz top but mine did not come with "brand label" like some of the more exp ones. But u r rite, mine only the small quartz particle reflect light. Haha, I believe my con did not "eat" me, juz itchy backside got to re-cfm somehow. Your reno seems to be going so well; a gd point of having the knowledge and work related info unlike layman like me.....many research to do...tiring

Thanks for the fast reply I wanted to have a feel of how much it will cost if I were to overlay my 3 bedroom. By simple proportion, I guess it will cost me abt $3.5K (assuming I use back my greyish-white old skirting).
-
Hi, Your house looks uncluttered and comfortable You overlay your whole house for abt $4.8K? Regards Simple13

can do ala-carte, really can save in general but u "pay" using energy but comparing quotes is a must, at least between 3 IDs/Contractors
-
Overall, your electical cost is ok. I mean, some are a bit higher and some a bit lower but overall it evens out. Main thing, u must be comfortable with the electrical...as can talk anot. Yes....electrical works are expensive.....this is 1 area many (including myself) overlook I would say to go for all double gang socket is better as more value for money and if 1 spoil, no need immediate change, and area still can be use n not become a "powerless zone"
-
Hi Aron, Kindly forward me the best quote (all in-installation, delivery, stainless steel brackets and such) and model number of the following 3 brands: -Panasonic -Toshiba -Mitsubishi All only need to be single split and the lowest BTU. Thank you so much Regards Simple13
-
yep...a whole house electrical cables is not cheap, many overlook this part esp when u add more sockets along the way

4K is new, this LG tv will only upscale/interpolate our normal prog/movies to 4K, so not "true" 4K. but not saying tat this TV is lousy, jus for the moment, not able to fully utilise tats all. Most impt, can fit your budget
