I have recently engaged Domestic1 service to help me to clean the house on every weekend. I have asked them for a Chinese helper and on the day itself, they gave me an Indian helper by the name of Mina. SHe was a fast worker but not systematic. Kept on asking me what to do next. On top of that, i realised that she dont scrub my toilet as the mild dew spotted earlier still there after she cleaned. Now, I am looking for any efficient helper who can help to clean my house. DO recommend if you ahve any. I am living in AMK.

I will just like to caution those who will be dealing with Supreme especially with the guy name David Lee. I am still sore about this and I hope you will be extra careful when dealing with him.. I met David in an expo sales and he convinced me to do laminate for my 3 bedroom, instead of going through an ID. Has deposited $500. In early Dec, I have arranged a meeting with my ID and him to choose the colour of my laminate. During the conversation, he sounded boastful and was telling me that this is the best price that he quoted and if I could find any better than this, he will refund or match the cost. Initially, I was't really bothered about the challenge. But as the conversation got deeper, I just couldn't take it.. **** BOASTFUL AND YAYA-BANANA.. First he was late for the appointment. Suppose to meet at 6pm, he turned up at 7pm with excuses - that's okie. Secondly, he started to brag about his services - that's okie. Thirdly, he boastfully continued to compare his prices and challenge me - that's come my boiling point. With the help of a friend, I finally got a better quotation and when I approached him for refund as promised, he changed his word to say that he was just joking. I was really mad at him. Unprofessional and after all the effort I made to get a better quotation, he said he was joking! We had an arguement and he accused me of backstabbing him. I wasnt happy and approached his boss. Both of them are just meant for each other. They are after all chasing for one time service.. He offered another sales guy to me or getting my ID to do it and deduct my deposit from there. The thing is that I was so disappointed with how they deal and the experience that I went through just made me sick of using SUPREME anymore. In addition, I have integrity.. I ahve promised the laminate company that if they can give me a better cost of the same grade to approve to David, will take them. And so, I am honouring it.. but not for SUPREME - boast and when it comes to the real challenge, they dun have the integrity to admit and face it.. This is the experience I ahd with Supreme. I hope those dealing with David or going to deal with David, will be more caution with what he promises and said.

I spoke to the manager.. and he has asked me to get an ID that uses Supreme and he will deduct from there.. However, I have enough from Supreme.. No longer wanna use them especially dealing with that boastful guy.. Heard that he is one of the top sales person but at the same time, he is also one of the sales person who always receive complaint. Anyway, it is also very bad of me to reject the new laminate company coz have negotiated to get the best cost due to David's challenge.. I feel his manager also the same kind.. just dun bother and want to make money$$$

I am now renovating my house with John. Ready by Jan. My comment for him.. he is professional, easy to talk to, innovative and gives value-added service. I will consider myself a very fussy person who will review as many IDs as I can and compare the prices plus the services they render. Although his quotation is not that cheap as compared to others, it is still reasonable plus he will go the extra mile to help you choose the right furniture for your home. That's one of the value-added service that I am looking for in an ID! In fact, before I came across him, there are many ID who came over to review my house and gave me the same kinda design. B-O-R-I-N-G... Though I have a design in my mind, I was looking for an ID who can give an innovative ideas. And I met the man.. In addition to the above, he is very patient man. I trust that he will do an excellent job.. Hopefully, everything goes well for my house.. Will post the photos to you when ready!

I am also using one of the square room id named John. Very patient guy. Before I chose him, I have met many contractors and so far, I found him innovative. Now, my house is under renovation.. really cant wait to see the outcome.. So far, dealing with him is no problem.. just a little forgetful but no major issue.. In fact, I am the 'kan-chiong' spider type who will chase him everytime I visited my house.. and he is indeed very patient.. Will post the photos once ready.. hopefully everything turns out well...

Hi, I have heard many positive feedbacks about Supreme Laminates. However, mine is the opposite. I am surprised and disappointed with how the staff approached me. Just to give some background... I chose to go direct to Laminate Supreme after reading some positive feedback from them. I am very impressed with their demonstration and the sales guy - David Lee convinced me and my hubby to sign a deal with $500 deposit in one of the expo exhibitions. Last week, we met David from Supreme and my ID to discuss the schedule and chose the colour of the Laminate. After discussing, I negotiated for a lower price. This is because the cost they quote me is the same as my ID. I have previously checked with my ID on the cost of SUpreme Laminte if I take from them. However, since I already have my deposit with Supreme, I decided to proceed but I was hoping that they can give me better costing. I go direct to them because I believe that the cost should be cheaper than going through 3rd party. During the discussion, David mentioned that if we can get a better price, he will match or give us the refund and confidently end the conversation. My hubby decided to take the challenge coz his friend has some contacts with some Laminate company. We got better cost at $3.60-$3.80 per sqft, compared to his $4 per sq ft with the same type of Laminate. According to the new company we have spoken, Supreme bought the Laminate from a factory in Malaysia and they repackage them into Supreme brand. Although the Laminate I chose is AC5, in Malaysia, it is still regarded as AC3. This is because it passes some PSB testing here and therefore it can be regarded as AC3. After much explaination from the new company, we have better understanding of Laminates. Now, we are asking David to honour what he has promised us. After talking to David, I decided that I would want refund as he sounded overly confident and proud, saying that he has vaue-added service, which the other party is also giving me. Now, he claimed that he is joking with me. Does he thought we are a joker? How can he treat this as a joke in a dealing when we already make an effort to source for the best price.. I am disappointed with him. In addition, he accused us of back-stabbing him. So unprofessional..

Hi, Will like to seek your advise. I no that it is not right to do this but it is very sore to see the advertisement and thought I can try my luck. Therefore, need your opinion. I bought Delaware dining set which cost me $1299. This dining set will only be sent in Dec when I completed my renovation. Have made payment of $1119. Saw teh advertisement recently which feature Delaware dining table at $1299 + FOC bench that matches with it. The time when I bought it, saw the bench but thought do not want to spent so much as I already bought $1000++ dining table. The bench cost $399 and now it is going for free with every purchase of Delaware dining set. Really an eye sore. I called the store manager at UNion Village to ask if I can get the bench for free since I have not receive the goods yet but they do not allow. I know it is not possible coz when I bought it is not on promotion. However, I have not receive the goods yet. Do u think I have the chance..? I felt very "pik-chek" when look at the advertisement.

I am renovating my house soon and has engaged Supreme to do my 3 bedroom laminates. Not sure how the workmanship will be but from the response I receive last time, it seems that they are ok. Btw, before I agree to se Supreme, I did ask on their product quality which is mostly from Malaysia as compared to others from Germany. According to them, our climate is similar to M'sia and the tree they used in M'sia should be able to withstand the weather condition here (i mean the humidity). This means that it is more durable than using those from Germany which has different weather condition than ours. I was convinced by their explaination and thus, have decided to hire them for service. Once I have done up my bedroom, will tel u more about them.

Will like to ask if anyone has gd/bad experience with them or heard about them? How the product quality? Btw, it is the child company of xzqt. But the range there is somehow less premium than xzqt?

Hi, Need to seek some opinions. Yesterday, I went shopping for lights with the contractor and have chosen 3 hanging lights for dining, living and balcony. Their shape and design varies, however mine living and dining line compliments each other. I was thinking to take ceiling mounted light for living but ID recommended a light. Looks nice. When reached home, i thought there will be many hanging lights in the hall. For dining and living, there is no issue coz the lights are quite a distant away. However, the balcony and living seems to be nearer. Not sure, if it looks like too many stuff danggling from my ceiling. Have asked my ID but he mentioned that since my balcony is using different tile and there's a beam to separate the living and balcony, it will not be a problem. Any thoughts.? In addition to that, I am quite sceptical about the living room light. I hate seeing dead flying insects in the lamp and mine living room hanging light is covered at the bottom. Therefore, it allows flying insects to get some warmth and then "piakk" be a burial ground for them.. Besides design, I am also wary about maintainence. I hate those that easily collect dust, especially for material lightings. For eg, those lights covered with some cloth. Ironically, I am taking a light with the above characteristics coz of design.. Not too sure if i really think so much wen getting lightings or is it ideal that I should have that considerations.. Sigh..

I have that issue too. Have not renovated my house yet. Still shopping for accessories with my ID. My ID does not put aircon in the quotation and leave me to decide. However, he did pre-empt me that at times when we get an outsider and if there is any problem, there are many finger pointings. Depending on my decision, he said that if we get their contractors, he will make sure that everything goes well and if any issue in future, we can still contact me. Roughly, he quote me ard $2200 for system 3 (mistubushi brand). He is quite a patient contractor and I think most likely will ask him to handle it. But not sure, if this is a resonable quotation? Still checking.

Hi All, I went to Court and fell in love with the bycast leather sofa. However, when I consulted my ID, he mentioned that leather sofa is not advisable unless I have aircon in my living room. He mentioned that in this kinda of humid weather, u will not feel comfortable to sit on the leather sofa for long. U feel very sweaty.. I am not sure if you have the same feeling for those who own leather sofa and without aircon in the living room. I am looking for sofa with wooden stand or base. Dun really fancy those with steel. Any inputs or photos to share? Please advise. Thanks.

Went to Hafary and LHS to take a look at the tiles. Got some samples back to carefully decide. Saw in the website on few shops selling tile. Need some advise: 1) My ID only brought me to the 2 shops which he mentioned are reliable source. However, after reading some tile shop recommendation in the forum, i intend to take a look at other stores before deciding on my tiles... maybe found something better in price or quality than Hafary and LHS. Will the ID mind taking tiles from other shops? Afraid if they have not work with them and any dispute on the tile, very difficult to get ID to negotiate. My ID did mention that many other ID visit LHS and HAfary bcoz of their service. So, wondering if there will be issue later on.. 2) Is the tile shop near to IMM (Toh GUan).. cant remember the name..really cheaper than Hafary and LHS?

Hi, I went to court yesterday and saw ASCARI 3+2 bycalf leather sofa set selling at $1899. Not too bad. I am looking for leather sofa set but those with sleek look. There are some leather sofa that looks very bulky - dun really like it. I was wondering if there is any other shops selling leather sofa that does not look very bulky. Do post some photos if u have? For those, who have leather sofa set, can u advise me the pros and cons having leather set compared to fabric set. My initial decision is to get a fabric sofa set but there are some feedback saying that leather is easy to maintain. Not very sure.. Just wanna hear from u for more info. Thanks.
