Wah, haven't come to visit this thread for so long. Still read about so many unresolved cases. It's so sad that their service sucks. Cos I find their products quite good though. My bar stool is really great! I wonder if we can find another reliable furniture shop that sell those goods they have... I like their dining table, but will never go to them again. Ice storm, don't worry. Keep pestering them until they make sure they act upon your order accurately.

I think they must have realised that customers have been calling them up after hearing about their rotten reputation... so they want to do service recovery before they close shop. hahaha.

Congrats Ekardo! Our nightmares are over! Maggie is very helpful. She just called to ask whether we have received our stool. My hubby said yes we got it. She can send one more if she wants to! haha. Her service is pretty good, but too bad the other black sheeps screws up their business. Wow, looks like sandstone & lavender mist are popular colors these days. But u know what? When my wall gets dirty and I try to clean it, it's very hard to remove. And the paint decolorises. :-(

Hi Air! U know what? One piece of my wall on Living room is Sandstone too! And all my rooms are Lavender Mist! We got the same taste! haha. U mean, there were 2 shades and they repainted the whole place? Wow! Then when they repainted, how did they do it such that there wasn't 2 shades? How much was your string curtain? and the width?

And where did u get the string curtain? I'm thinking of getting it to divide my dining cum living area too. Cos my living area looks so bare. And u all know what?! My bar stool was delivered at 10:50am today! Thank goodness it was in good condition. That marks the end of my dealings with rotten apple. But I must say their furniture is really nice. But too stressful... Zacey, thankfully u got back your chq. Never issue another chq unless people return u the first one k? Be careful.

$850 without chairs isn't a very good price. Usually chairs are expensive. If u top up by another $250, can have 6 chairs leh! That's what Maggie told me. I think I will stick to the furniture shop at my neighbourhood. Small shop, but at least it's reliable so far. And I can request for my preferred delivery time. Going to get shoe cabinet... Air, u got your kitchen accessories from Song Cho! It's good stuff right? I bought 3 long s/s poles from them and drill them onto my s/s backing. It's solid! Really like it! Oh ya, don't know how many trucks they have...

Ekardo, they say your area is 10am-2pm! That's 4 hours leh. They told me my area, Bt Batok, is 12pm-3pm. Something wrong sia... Air, u are a rare case man.

Whoa, this rotten apple is causing people so much stress... I think at the rate they are going, they can plan for closing down sale to sell of the display items. Ekardo, my bar stool will also be delivered on 11 Aug. Which area do u stay at? They told me that delivery time for west area is around 12pm-3pm. But the last time they delivered, they changed it to after 3pm. Came at 3:30pm. Actually those staff who work for them also very poor thing. Ganna scolded by customers because of the company's poor management. We should scold the right person also. Wonder who is the big boss or manager in charge of logistics... Yes, Air. If they don't deliver as promised, I think u should just demand to cancel the order so that u won't go through what Jolyl had to go through. I can imagine u all living without sofa & dining table for so long. It's very inconvenient. My bar stool is still ok. Not an essential item. Hang in there people! Hope one day our stuff will be settled & we will have nothing more to do with rotten apple.

Shanndy, the sofa looks so cool. How much did u pay for all? Ekardo, if they don't deliver by 11 Aug, u try demanding for compensation. The person from rotten apple called me yesterday to say they can deliver the stool to me this Sat between 12-3pm, but I won't be home. So I suggested next Sat. I don't want to cancel my appointment just to wait for the rotten apple. In case they screw up again, waste my time. Looks like their display set is better than any of those they deliver to us. Might as well buy display set from them. haha. If anyone has contacts in the media, quickly go and do a write up. We are all victims who suffer from eating the rotten apple!

Oh Ekardo, erm... did u bargain with the sales staff? I remember when I went there, Maggie said she can charge me $1,100 & absorb gst for the dining table I wanted. Maybe yours is more expensive. The one I like is extendable, just beside yours. She told me I can choose 1 bench, and 4 chairs. If not, the price is $999 for 1 bench & 2 chairs but can further discount. You go & ask Sofia whether can reduce lor. Since they have not delivered yet. $1,600 for the sofa... ya, looks expensive. I bought a huge set from V Hive, 5 seater

Ekardo, $1100 with 6 seats or 4? I know they can let u choose the 2-seater bench, plus 4 chairs $1100. If it's 6, it is reasonable leh. But if it's only 4 seater, meaning 1 bench plus 2 chairs, it is very expensive. They quoted me $1100 for 6 seater. I don't know how to upload the photo of my stool here...

I also like another dining table, i think it's just beside yours. Their furnitures are good, but the service & condition is worrying. Maggie is nice. At least she will try to follow up for us, call the delivery department etc. She won't promise to follow up, and don't call back. She just called me today, as promised. She said they have placed another order for me and hope to deliver it to me in 3 weeks' time. She will call me again. She's good. I think she knows her company also got problem. At least she won't try to avoid us. I will take photo and upload when I am free k? After I get my stool, I'm not going to buy from them anymore. It's just too stressful. Hi Ekardo, I bought from IMM. My sales staff was Maggie Ang. She's very nice lah. Always help me call up and check, and will call me back... She said she will let me know about the new delivery date and try to arrange for me on 13 Aug. Cos she said weekday delivery is more accurate. I will be at home on that day anyways... So, waiting. The stool is very good though. Very comfortable & cool looking. Too bad, the service sucks.

Hi all, my stool was delivered very on time, at about 3:30pm. 2 stools, correct color... BUT! There was a defect on one of the stool. It was scratched and slightly dented. We rejected that one. And u know what the delivery man said? He said he has the silver color thingy, can help me touch up! My husband said, this is not a problem with the color, it is dented! Even after u touch up, the dent will still be there. We told him to bring it back. He said can leave it with us but we refused. We were afraid that they won't come and change it. So on his invoice, I made a note : Received only 1 stool & signed. Then I happened to go to IMM that evening to buy some stuff. I dropped by at rotten apple & told the sales staff. She said she will arrange the other stool to be delivered to me & call me tomorrow to inform me the date & time. Sigh... Delivery ok, but goods got problem...

My husband told me that rotten apple called him at 5+ to say that our bar stools will come in after 3pm. Haiyo... I am never going to buy from this apple again. Usually, all other furniture shop will ask customers what time they prefer the delivery to be. And the interval is just 2 hours. Like V. Hive, I told them 11am-1pm. Somemore I keep changing my preferred time & they accommodated. This rotten apple needs some training on customer service. I see so many of u ordered sofa & dining set from them. Must be really frustrating... Let's all boycott them in future and spread the word around so that no one bite the rotten apple.

Hello, my furniture from the rotten apple is tomorrow. Today I called the sales staff to confirm with her again. She helped me check. And said it will be tomorrow between 12pm-3pm. Then I asked her sure or not. She told me that was what the delivery department said. If I am concerned, I can double check with them again. So I called the delivery dept and asked. The lady said the warehouse people who is doing the schedule will call me by 4:45pm to let me know. I told her I heard many bad reviews about their company. She said it happens to some people, but not always true. So I told her sure or not!? I don't wanna spend the whole Saturday waiting at home. She said they will call me again to double confirm. Then at 4pm, true enough, someone called to say that my furniture will be in tomorrow. Between 1-4pm! I was like... huh? Different timing. I asked, can confirm or not? I don't wanna wait at home the whole day. The person said the delivery man will call me before they come. So I decided that I will go out tomorrow, anyway I need to run some errands that is nearby. If they really call, then I can still rush back home. If not, I will just go & do my own stuff. Don't waste time. I hope they really deliver by tomorrow! Will update u all again.

Hi all, a few of us were discussing about this topic at Singapore brides and our thread got deleted. Not sure why... ekardo, what happened to our thread at singapore brides? U spoke to the moderator? What did she say? Did Red Apple email her or what? Sigh... I am another customer of Red Apple. Furniture scheduled to be delivered on 28 July. After hearing all these woes, I am keeping my fingers crossed.
