Nice reno pics.. do you go down few times a day to monitor the reno progress?? How you manage to take all the reno progess in pics. For me, not much pic in reno progress as i only drop in once a week on weekends. Is it really necessary to go down everyday to monitor them?

Hi guys, i just finish my reno with Ho Bee. Everything is good. Mace is right, Patrick is a person that is not calculative. It's all depends on mutual trust. As a customer, do not try to bargain too much or be too calculative for those nitty gritty things. End of the reno, he will not charge you for those small little things you have ask him to do like installing of toilet fittings,some drillings..blah blah.. That's what happen to me. He didnt even charge me for the work done to box up my toilet entrance.. the only bad thing is that you have to wait..he's really super busy..

I think toshiba also have the same function. When i off the aircon, the fancoil will still be blowing some air for a while before it truly shuts down. Quite a good feature. Initially, i thought there's something wrong with the aircon! haha..Nevertheless, i think MHI is also a reliable brand. There's no bad aircons, only bad installers

Hi Mace, im also using ikea's bracket and rod. But i dont really like the rod becos when i try to draw my curtains, it tends to get stuck at the "joints" of the rods. As my living room is rather long, i bought those that extendable rods which will have the "joints" when it is fully extended. im thinking of buying aluiminium rods that comes as one long piece, abt 3.8 metres long. Anywhere i can buy? No point spending too much on curtains. im also using ikea's curtain. May not be as nice as those custom made curtains but still acceptable for me. I rather spend on electronics which i know i will fully utilise. i bought those on the shelf and my wife does the alteration Curtains for my whole house under $500

Hi, for mopping of floors, what do you guys use? Just a normal pail and a mop? I want something that takes less effort to squeeze the mop dry before the next mop. Any gadgets or special pails you guys using?

Got it for 9k above valuation for my 4rm flat. Still consider not bad. My toilet layout is the same as yours. Wish i have a bigger toilet..hehe Yes, the place is very windy and no evening/noon sun but i have problem when comes to drying of clothes..can only wind dry. Better to get a dryer. Another thing good abt this area is it is very quiet, esp. at night

No problem, but bear in mind that Patrick is only a contractor. You must have an idea of what you want like the kind of sink and tap u want, the tiles and also the toilet fittings. He will be the one to transform your idea into reality!

The green mosiac cost $10/psf. The black mosiac cost $13/psf as there is a mixture of the usual glass mosiac and stone mosic. But the pic too blur liao..cant see it...hehe..i will try to post better quality pics next time.

Legrand is good. i have both Legrand and clipsal 13A socket. Difficult to plug/unplug those 2 pins plugs for Clipsal. Very easy with Legrand.

Wow,thats a good buy. i was quote ard $1850 for the Toshiba sys 2 : RAS-M10NKPX / RAS-M13NKPX/RAS-3M20UAX5 with 1/2" Armaflex insulation class 1 upgrade from coolserve.. I wanted to get from Allbest but seems skeptical as there's quite a number of negative feedback abt them. But their price is really attractive leh..But nevertheless, i think also depends on luck..haha Good luck to your installation!

can i know whats the model of the aircon you bought? the price include the upgrade to 1/2" class 1 insulation? when is the fair ending? thanks

haha..very true! im at the upperhand..i can do funny things to them if i want but i also dun like trouble but i can foresee more of these complaints twill come after i moved in.

Guys, have you encounter very "sensitive" neighbours? Last night abt 9pm, my wife was trying to knock in the wall plug into the kitchen floor. She stop after a few knock only. After that my downstairs neighbour come up and complaint. The old auntie tell us what we r doing n ask us not to knock anyting. Do you think this neigbhour is very fussy abt small things? Anyone got this kinda neighbour too? how u deal with them
