agree HDB stuff sub standard. My common toilet tile got those dirt stain cannot be wash off some more its onli on certain tiles.. try bleach but seems like the beige color turn so light while the dirt stain still remain there...arghhh.... ani one encounter this problem? how to solve it?? regret didn't overlay when doing reno tat time haizzz..

Hi purplesky ya got to clear away the water lor. anyway my kitchen top is black so can't see the silicon even it turn black . Anyway seldom cook lah so seldom use the skin oso. My hse door bell is not battery operated one. Its connected to the HDB doorbell socket there . So far so good only limited bell ringing sound. .

hm... i dun remember i got see any unit with storage heater in the toilet. heehee Mine is outside. Anyway for the kitchen sink to be under mount one disadvantage is that if sink spolit, got to hack away the surface in order to change which is a hassle. Its actual personal preference lah. top mount oso ok coz mine is top mount so far so good

Ya ya i oso notice there is someone having 3 dogs in a HDB.... coz saw the owner walking the dogs late at nite then. but not too sure which floor or unit.

Hi Purple, sorry to hear tat ur reno still not yet complete. Is there a way for you to change another ID company? Tat means take back ur deposit etc... I oso dun tink HDB allow to drag reno for soo long. esp now our estate is like fully occupied. If i am not wrong reno haf to be done by 1mth or 2 mth time.

aiyoo i got a pair gone missing a afew mths back and got one incident my slippers (which is so old and dirty) gone missing. Later it was found at the staircase there.

I put it in a corner at the common toliet lor. the those broom n mop i hang it in the toliet. U go DIY shop there got sell a type of holder where can hang broom n mop one. but got to drill onto the wall of ur toliet.

haaha i onli hear it dunno which unit woh...but sometime in the evening oso haf leh

The toliet tiles is abt rough. Its not tat slippery compare to the kitchen tiles given by HDB. But if its full of soap residue then it will be slightly slippery. Kitchen tile when wet is really slippery so when mopping kitchen floor got to be careful. Oso not to leave droplet of water on kitchen floor. Coz elderly may step on it and slip. heehee happened to me once when too lazy to use cloth to clear it, nearly slip n fall

Hi all, hm... didn't know change the blot will cause complication to the insurance. But wat if u change first then buy insurance, it shld not be any prob rite.. actuali tat uncle action very fast one leh. so those who havn't done the blot and dun intend to do when he ask, dun hesitate. Haf to quickly tell him dun wan. Also tell him off if he start to knock off the blot to stick back and dun be like us so soft hearted coz tat time when he was doing my neighbour's gate and sort of promote to us, my hubby n me hesitate coz got not enff cash with us and we havn't even confirm with him, he juz knock off the two original blot. so no choice we got to let him do lor. tat time feel abit keanna chop carrot. but heng only change 6 blot. was thing of changing 3 onli heehee but he knock off the middle blot so let him change 6.

Kehehe thanx for Jasch allowing me to post pix in her blog heehe and thanx for the comments.. actuali me and my hubby both like the kitchen door best out of the whole reno hahaha... Erm... kitchen door is inclusive into the whole reno package... we dun haf the break down of individual amt. We specially request the ID to do for us before we sign up. Btw the design on the glass is sand blasted on, thus cannot change if we are sick of it in the future heehee u can see it if u by pass downstairs, especially at night when we on all the light. Coz havn't put up curtain heehee
