Try those hardware shop or self- fix DIY. They have but hidden in a corner. Cost range between S$35-55 from my observation. I got myself one as well since my new place doesn't come with any bamboo pole hanger. or you can view this locally supplied online shops http://www.universalunion.com.sg/product.asp?id=663

I go when I saw SEVEN TVs. i) Considering that the older Masionette have only 30Amp rated is it? You really have to get your contractor to understand your power needs and provide recommendation to fit all your usage. ii) Hoe Kee (I assume that you sourced from IMM) did not really have a lot to offer. I dropped by the branch at Paya Lebar and it seems much more on display there. Anyway We got ours at Lion City - Induction Hob for a change. iii) Which Aircon Brand did you choose eventually. I really cannot imagine the whole house not fitted with air-con everywhere considering your inventory of Entertainment equipment is so much, lol

One thing I do not really like about Dual door Fridge is you have to cater enough space at both ends to allow both doors to be fully open. And you should know, Masionette or 5A Masionette have incredibly small space for Kitchen. Ended up for my case, I bought a Hitachi Fridge (R-SG37BPS) as it is tall, slim and slender. Otherwise, there's not much big space for Fridge.

How Much Cov Have You Paid?
Whalegaga replied to spikedoll's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
I think only em costs like crazy at bishan. Surprised to learnt one can get a zero cov flat there -
For 3rd Gen Masionette, you can see the floorplan here which I've posted. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/4853-mansionette-owner/?p=868458 - I didn't remove any walls. Too small in fact to hack anyway. But I did reinstated back the Balcony and Service Balcony. I got a thing for unblocked feel. lolxx - Kitchen is as per standard, you can only see L-shaped due to the layout. Cannot pattern too much haha. - I can show you my stairs but to be honest, it's all concealed. If you're interested, you can pm me, we connect via social app or watsoever and I attached the pictures over, coz the picture is all in my phone and i am lazy to upload to those free sites whatsoever, haha PS : by the way, there's a lot of stairs to be see, just google, all the renotalk Stairs will pop out, lolx

I saw this plot of land almost every day since I'm driving by Eway. Yah a lot of EM owners will be pissed off not only that area but also in areas like Corporation Road, Pioneer North Areas. Firstly it's a premium flat. I'm not saying it must be Hill or Sea facing etc but the minimum it should be unblocked. Now the Balcony also don't know if you will sit there for even 2 mins. Secondly, for whatever reasons, all available piece of land, HDB will squeeze out a 20-30 storey Flat, blocking everyone in the way. It causes congestion, packed the side roads. Haizz .... rant as usual

I used the same for my kitchen wall. I guess your parents are smiling, they got a room at 1st floor and a balcony that comes with it.

How much were you quoted for the bi-fold doors? My 3 toilets are still without doors and I am shifting in 2 days time 😂😂😂😂 And I am quite keen to see the transformation of the living room to your parents bedroom. How does it look like?

How Much Cov Have You Paid?
Whalegaga replied to spikedoll's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
Unless the HDB flats are super duper exclusive or super duper good fengshui. 2015 should expect not much people forking out COV. Too many in the market not moving. -
Does the HIP programs cover for the above toilet (I believe it's the 1st floor common?) since initially it is supposed to be just an open wash area? And for this case, can they renovate accordingly to your design? You wouldn't want a newly renovated HIP program Toilet but still face the same problem??

Just to share one issue with regards to Openet, Fibre connections. (Whatever we call it, haha) I am faced with 2 issues for my relocation form my current Flat to my soon-to-be renovated EM unit. i) I'll be using back my Plan and I need to transfer it over to my new flat. ii) The current fibre cables layout doesn't' fit my ideal location as I actually shifted the location of the TV point from one Wall to the opposite Wall. I spoken to my electrician who suggested either we remain the point as it is, set up my modem and lay a cable across the ceiling (to be concealed) to my new TV location. Another way is to get the Service Provider to relay the cables during the renovation stage. Thus just for some updates on the costing. S$235.0~S$250.0 for recable/ new installation of the fibre cables to your home. S$90 for activating the plan in my new home Total expected trips by Service Provider (For my case is Singtel) 1st trip - laying of cables to our desired location 2nd trip - activation of opennet outside my home 3rd trip - activation of Mio TV etc by Singtel staff Hope this helps! -
Interesting to know that the HIPS programme can be done together at same time as your Renovation.

Hi eigna, Buying EM will have its pros and cons. More privacy vs convenience. Rare vs common ( oh we sure know that ) Maintaining vs space planning. Sure I dread of that day wifey point at me and says Go mop!! But what to do, hahaha. Someone gotta do it -

I agree to certain extent. Maybe I am blessed. I found a seller who is willing to let go at a reasonable price thou my location isn't so Woooo but the fact that Its 4 mins walk to MRT is attractive enough for me to grab. So Bro Cleong, mind sharing your air con experiences? Do you know usually if the Air con contractors will apply for your behalf for Units mounting outside your Unit or you did it yourself? Any experiences on that? Thanks! -

Woodlands Masionette
Whalegaga replied to EmPro's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
Hi Legolas, My area is approx. 17 yrs old. As the 3rd owner, i would say it s move in condition. No major waterproofing, ceiling leakage issues. Thus structurally it looks fine. The floorings are parquet and its well maintained. Only problem is the air con duct. Yucks hahaa -
Wah a while nvr logged in so many info! Well I got 2 question for you sis if you don't mind. 1) shouldn't the Aircon guys run a drainage pipe to your bathroom or to ur balcony pipe? Surprised you're experiencing leaking direct from the compressor. 2) I'm using ST Fibre broadband currently. Quite certain using the same the set up at new place. However how do I ensure that both levels can receive strong signal? What would you recommend? Data point cat 6 as quoted by my Electrician, set up dual band wireless modem, using access point device? Other an IMac, the rest should be handheld mobile or tablets. For your case, can I assume you planned wireless concept for all levels?
