haha me also.. now started reno le then a lot of small small little things not mention before then got to add in the cost... haiz... really must try to be as detailed as possible during quotation stage.. anyway jazz.. i will be using light and space for my ceiling and some of the walls as well.. wanted to make our small small house "appear" slightly bigger.. hehe

Hi crazycar, Can i check with you u hacked one of your wall too rite? is ur extra door with the handle on the left hand side of the door? do you tink you can sell me the door if you dun need it anymore? my door cannot be reused because the handle is on the different side from what i want after the wall is hacked..now trying to look for the correct one..

Hi Jazznpop, emulsion means water based paint which is the more commonly used one. But other than letting them state emulsion paint you sld check with them wat type of emulsion paint also cos they are a few different type.. just like wat simpleboi mention abt dulux light and space is more expensive then dulux wash and wear.. and both are emulsion..

Went IMM today and finally settle on our matress and hood,hob and oven.. oooo... cost us a bomb... We got a Simmons Lakeview matress for $2879 but was given a discount of 5 % so we paid $2735.05 for a matress, 2 pillows and a matress pad. !! but hor is it reasonable? cos we didnt really compare cos the sales lady say if we can find any one selling cheaper she will match accordingly.. !! Bought Rinnai hood and hob and oven for $1,330 also. will try to find the pics of the things i bought and post it up.. hehe Tmr they are starting teh wet works already.. pray hard that things will be smooth..

Hi Happy, you still can go ahead with ur reno thou they haven finished their reno.. the lady at blk 27B say its ok as lo9ng as you had reported it then they will do it.. My wet works will also start next week.. now they are doing the electrical works.. look luck for both our reno ya!!

Hi, Are you giving a set of your keys to the workers that is doing your defects? my view is to use a separate lock or get a lock from your id if yu had already confirmed yours. you would not want any of the workers to duplicata a set of your keys rite ? The lock you can change anytime but house key more troublesome to change mah.. this is just my view lar

actually we thought for very long before deciding to hack the wall.. cos after hacking the wall we will be left with one room lesser and our parents say that will affect the future resale value of our house.. but eventually we just bo chap and go ahead to hack the wall for larger room since now only me and my FH staying... yah.. the tot of cleaning up the house give me headache already... but luckily our house is smaller compare to a lot of other house... so just got to give and take a bit on the pro and cons of a smaller house ba.. Thanks Happy! They will only start the rest of the work after CNY... so will post more pics then... tink by that time you will also be starting on your own reno already!!!! Then you can show us more pics tpp!! !!

Finally the hacking of the wall is done!! Hopefully they can make good the hacked wall soon and start on the rest of the work asap.. !! Wall between MBR and bedroom 2 Kitchen entrance

Can we join too..=P ermm.. if i am not wrong, sealer is for better adhesion purpose.. i.e for the coat of paint to hold better to the plaster wall.. but normally internal wall they dun apply sealer.. mostly for external wall expose to weathering..
