  1. Hi Commando, thanks for your reply to the wireles. Either to get a SNBB modem or wait till May. I am currently a broadband user . I want to apply for Singnet Wireless whereby could surf in the house without connecting to the broadband cable, i have to wait till my contract end and upgrade. Meanwhile, as for the cat, thanks for all the info. My gal is getting distressed cos she's does not like to get close to animal. she is so stress that when she sleep, she keep thinking if the cat could jump in from the window or get into our house. i will try to use citrus acid and joss stick. hope it will help. with regards wewecheng
  2. Hi All, i really desperate nd the advice of the experts in this forum. I hd just get a new unit and the previous seller is a cat lover ( the seller hd given away all the cats). now, there is 1 particular cat always coming to our door step and causes some distress to my daughter (8yo). It does no harm no meowing sound...just appearing at the door step. please advise. another issue is on wireless internet surfing as i m not well versed IT person. Currently, a singnet broadband user and i cant register for wireless due to my contract is not ending till May 08. They suggest i buy a modem to access or wait till renew of contract. any gd advise? thanks...appreciate. wewecheng

  5. i started sourcing for flats in cck and bt batok. most of it asking for more than 20k over cash. there is 1 unit, 2nd flr is selling ard 13k but the owner is in jail.hesitate to take up the offer and also not from chinese race. some agents did not even want to entertain and told me that if i do not hv S$30k cash on hand. telling me to forget about it and not even could view the flat. maybe i consider, i bump into a property agent during 1 of the viewing. she told me to wait as property is sliding down and tell me to patient.... anybody bought a 4rm reasales in the these areas and wat are the cash value to top up.... hopefully, the market will slide down.... hianz......
  6. Hi Phantom, U indicate you bought at valuation. which area is it? i m looking for resales in the west zone. I hd this feeling all these are being spolit by the property agents...i call a few agents. some of them take time to explain to you while some immediate ask for more than 50K, if not interested, no viewing of flats.... wewecheng
  7. Hi ...I would like to seek advise what is the procedures if wanted to purchase a 4room resales flat which is now servicing by bank loan. buyer is entitled to hdb loan and seller is servicing bank loan. any complicated issues. thanks.
  8. Hi All Hope u guys remember me. Finally, HDB had approved on my loan. Mine is under nonconcession loan @ 3.68%. With the shares from my ex matrimonal flat after transfer, i am able to stretch till S$250K for 4 room (at valuation). Anybody recently bought 4rm resales in bt gombak, bt batok east and choa chu kang. if yes, wat is the valuation and cash. please let me know. if you hv good agent, pls do recommend me. looking forward to start ahead with my princess..... wewecheng
  9. i didnt know that if market drop to 1%, i still hv to fork out 3.6%. I think this is better than bank loan. when asked for appeal to HDB. we are at their mercy. Yes, if successful and allow on 4rm. will look for 4S / 4NG in cck or bt gombak. and hopefully, need not to top up much cash. the officer hd calculated, together with my CPF. I could purchased a flat valuated at S$240+ but will not stretch to that limit.
  10. I just recieved a reply from HDB and they are trying to help me to get non-concession loan whereby interest is 3.6%. Anyone has clue abt that? According to the HDB Officer, this loan is implement before the bank loan. They are also trying to see if I can get a 4room resales HDB Flat. any comments and advise please.
  11. Thanks. My ex husband had just submitted the Transfer Form to buy my part share and put back into CPF. I had appeal to apply for 3 room HDB Flat. the resales officer is helping me to get at least a loan till 180K (@ valuation). Now, just waiting for transfer to be complete and waiting for appeal results. Wonder how long does it takes?

  14. possible if it will be 4 rooms, cos now, my mum ( helping to take care of my gal) am staying with my sister who has a family and my dad is staying with my bro (who also has a family and 4 puppies). since young, i m an independent and no nonsense child. the only greatest headache is my failed marriage. my parents are v supportive and they r considering to live with me so that i could focus on my career (i m now hving a gd and prospective position in semi govt sector and intend to further my studies). ' that is why i desparate need at least a 4S. cheerio

  16. i hd cleared all my debts this month. even DBS had ceased my cashline and now reactivate my account. i do pray hard that i could get a loan. anybody can advise. meanwhile, thanks for all the support and advises from this forum rendered to me. really appreciate. my ex really gives me a hard time.
  17. u mean not even the 1st HDB loan. is it due to high income? yes, after approval from HDB and get a flat, will treasure and if no choice, go for 3 room and makeover. hopefully, every went smooth.
  18. ] hi applefreak...sorry to phrase in such way. i do not know if you really understand or know what we went thru. before HDB revert to me, i fight v hard and for many months, going to seek for MP's appeal, legal aid and to HDB office and getting thru the right officer. it is long that simple. it went thru many months and many justification.
  19. Hi espresso, he will be buying my part share and all my <accear of interest> S$75K will be return to my CPF and is not enough to purchase the flat as i stopped work for few years before divorce. Sometimes, i do hope that HDB do considered 2nd chance for divorcee with sole custody of kids.

To standby a gd contractor, jus in case, need to do the flooring, wall, wiring and touch up. i m intend to seek for 4S in bt batok or chao chu kang. hopefully to get 1.
  21. Hi, i stumbled upon this website and knowing that the information are very information. I am a divorcee with a 8 yo child and now, we are in the midst of processing our 5rm flat in Jln Teck Whye. My ex husband is in debts and bankcrupt and applying for approval from HLE to buy over my part share as we believe our 5 rm flat will not fetch any good price. firstly, i would like to find out if anyone here knows any rules & regulation from HDB:- 1. Firstly, i am a divorcee and with a 8yo kid, this is my 3rd time to apply for a HDB Flat (as I need to have a roof for myself and my kid), i knew that i m not entitled to HDB loan and grant. I went for appeal, getting MP to write in and manage to only grant me 200K. HDB property is v hot now, will i able to get a 4S with 200k in bt batok or chao chu kang. 2. About property agents, i do nd to have referral with well experience and v truthful agent. the formal agent which we used to have is v dishonest and untruthful. she knows well that my ex husband is seeking for divorce due to involvement in 3rd party and still proceed ahead to get me to sign off the appt letter and my husband raise the divorce on the eve of collection of keys. since, i hd not been staying in our 2nd flat and i m not contributing to the CPF. 3. i m now employed in semi govt hospital, earning more than 2.3K. if i m applying for bank loan for 4rm, must i fork out $ and what are the basic critieria. 4. renovation. i nd a reliable renovation contractor which have gd and cheap service. any recommendation. how to go about renovation loan. i hope there is some reply to my queries to finalise, i just feel that Singapore does not protect women / divorcee with kid. HDB rules always change and they dun sympathy or give citizens a chance to hv their own home. thank u.
