so nice of your MIL to buy one for you. But u mite have to forgo the model u like. We bought half leather sofa w recliner (3+2), polished marble top dining table w 4 Lorenzo styled chair, tv consol and coffee table from Furniture HQ @ AMK. Package at $5K after we bargain. We feel its a deal as we had been to almost all the showroom at Sungei Kadut and also checked out Lorenzo. Hubby insists on getting recliners.....(haizzz) Prices are kinda similar at all places....but the sofa at HQ@AMK was the one that got us cos its the most comfy so far. The quality seems pretty ok too. Pictures in hubby's phone. will share it w u soon. Can check out Lorenzo (Near Eunos), Univonna and Kaki Bukit's Enterprise 1. I saw ads in the papers for the showrooms there.

Kitchen tiles is nice!!!! ur reno progress is pretty fast. Soon you'll be moving in... We went to Megastore at kallang to check out the electrical appliances. A lot of hard selling but prices quite competitive. We bought furnitures already but we havent bought any electical items, cooker and hob.

Hi, I was also deciding whether to get the inbuilt oven and microwave or just microwave with add'l functions for my future home. I have decided to get microwave with multiple functions instead, just becos the price of the oven may not be worth paying considereing the v few times i will be baking. heheh However, if you plan to bake (cakes esp) a lot and like once a fortnight, i say go for oven. If not, i think it may not be worth the money. We do tend to go crazy and buy stuff during renovation. heheh Let us know what you finally decide
