Hi guys! i have like @ least 10 kids under 5yrs old that will be @ my dinner.. and i dun want them running around. any ideas how to keep them occupied? was thinking like perhaps an activity pack for them? or perhaps cordon off a corner with tables n chairs, then they can sit there n draw and interact and what not. but, i think the ballroom not big enough to do that, unless in the reception area.. or just get a tv and play Barney can already.. any cheap & bright ideas?

hi hi! in the end i went with Bridal Concept.. hubby likes their photo style. gowns were nice. they have 3 floors of gowns to choose from! *fingers crossed everything turns out great!* Anyone's AD in dec 08?

hi LadyLuck, my AD is in dec 08. have been to see sophia, french, milan & J&M this week.. sophia's the most expensive of the four! and i noticed.. almost all the BS speak chinese! i dunno how to nego in chinese.. i'm going to faint. lol what extra freebies did u managed to nego for? u engaged labelle @ BOWS.sg tog with ur banquet?

Hi, it just occurred to me that the for most of you here, photographers for the AD and PS are from different studios altogether. So I'm wondering.. Is the AD photographer and videographer included in the bridal package? Or need to source separately? Usually there's this montage slideshow of the morning's events @ the banquet, who creates this presentation? Also, I'm looking @ La Belle Couture and Sattine BC.. Was accosted by them @ the bows yesterday.. these are what i can remember.. Sattine - $3388 1 WG 1 EG 1 teadress 1 suit for groom car deco 1 dress for maid of honor and 1 suit for best man car - bmw 4 PS gown 2 PS groom 6 corsages cant rem if flowers were provided 30 photos 36 poses La Belle - $2988 (got joint promo w m hotel, $300 off if sign with m hotel n LBC) roughly the same 1 more gown for PS 2 jackets for parents no car provided flowers provided 25 photos 30 poses.. or was it 20 photos 26 poses.. anyone has any experience/comments/recommendations on these 2? Hi hi! welcome to the neighbourhood, renogirl! nothing much to update, been busy painting the house.. room by room.. its been 1.5 mths? i dunno. hahah! painting an ea is no easy task! no wonder the pros asked for 1.5k to paint.. lol anyhoo.. here's a pix of my living room. just put up the balcony panels today. ps the wall is super hard to drill! went to get the carpet yesterday.. after scouring arab street and furniture mall, finally ended up at Tagore Lane's carpet & furnishing. reasonably priced, wider selection, less pushy salespeople.

waaaaaaaaaaaa.. children's day today.. the whole place so quiet and peaceful.. or maybe cos we left home earlier today.. got pple doing taichi somemore.. kekeke..

901 is erratic.. if u take the bus after 7.55am, the bus takes longer to arrive abt 8-14mins and you'll end up taking the more crowded train. good new is, alot of pple alight @ woodlands mrt on the later train, abt 8.20, cos the republic poly students all reach ard that time! the place still quite dusty. maybe cos the other side neighbours are renovating. but we're not in most of the time, so not noisy for us. however, the people walking around in the void deck are very loud! can hear them talking. other then that.. vista point is like an oasis in ulu woodlands! lol everything they have! as for unpacking.. not yet. waiting for my carpentry and painting to complete this weekend, then clean up 1 last time, then can start unpacking liao. ps. get a clock! very impt! esp in the mornings.. in order to not be late! ahahaha! @minfaith, the vacuum other than noisy, anything else she complained about?

starhub scv, we signed up the saturday before, only free slot was last saturday.. same for the singTel Mio, signed up saturday before, next sunday then they come n install.. even longer than starhub. i went looking ard for the robot vacuum cleaner.. and i found this! its cheaper than i expected! but will research more and read more reviews before deciding.. kekek ohoh! renotalk also got a thread about the robot vacuums.. here

WA! everyone's house is almost ready! cleaned up the kitchen cabinets, washed kitchen and service balcony floors on sunday.. some of the ink markings on the cabinets cannot go off.. and the carpenters dripped some black paint on my white counter top! took me 5 mins of rubbing 1 3mm dot with cloth and turpentine before it start to budge. and there's still slight greyish stains left behind now.. *grumble* maybe if really fussy with the spots and ink marks, have to go get gloves and CIF! lol! and ladder.. i cannot reach the topmost cabinets! lol my fridge came last night, so the kitchen is sorta done... deciding whether to clean again.. dunno how come when walking around the house.. my feet still feels powdery, my hubby sez its ok leh. i must have sensitive feet.. we still have painting left to do. only completed half the living room on saturday. been so busy with the family member's birthday celebrations over the weekends, not much time left to clean.. AND OMG! 131sq m is VERY VERY VERY back breaking to clean! think i'm going to get me those auto vacuum cleaner.. just leave it on before leaving for work and let it run around the house.. after work come back.. all done! lol.. wait for next Philips fair! hahaha! I"ve moved into the new place already, have no internet connection up yet, takes singTel 9 days to activate the phone line, and internet. so internet only up on sunday.. that is if the activation and installation goes smoothly.. Starhub was up on saturday, the guy came to activate. BTW, we need to pay the guy $32.10 to come activate the SCV line, cos ours is new flat. We were going to go for blinds.. the other day, just nice the blinds salesman came to the house when i was waiting for the carpenter to come and he quoted me $1022 for the 3 bedroom and the dining room windows. Faint. Now thinking whether to go blinds or curtains. Hey smoochies, I wanted to change the balcony doors to those that can fold then slide to the side as well.. but figured it would be **** ex.. maybe next time.. or when i strike Toto! hahahahaha!

oki dokie! my house is 80% done! left the cabinets, wardrobe, and painting. we moved most of our stuff in over the weekends.. furniture, tv, washing machine arrived last week.. so.. yea.. but everywhere is still so powdery and stuff.. my haulage is by my contractor wor.. see if i can ask him for the contact. one thing about our blocks.. the pple talking downstairs, VERY LOUD la! either that or the echos reverberate super duper loudly. and the kids are **** noisy around my area.. *grrr*

AH! now you can say "mine's a daikin!" lol *fingers crossed* painted the ceiling on sunday.. today.. starting to ache already.. monday, i heard they fixed up the grilles, lights, fans.. floors also done, FH said they were fixing up the toilet stuff too.. so i think tml when i go down to see, prob all done, 'cept for the carpentry.
