I Am Small But I Have All
Ken82 replied to sforshor's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat - HDB Resale Renovation & Interior Design
Dear Shor Bro, Thank you very much for sharing with me on Gary's LED contact. I have previously went down to his warehouse and gotten my quote from him. After I met Gary and asked him for bulk discount, he said his price is wholesale price but it is actually slightly more expensive than outside wholesale price. My quote from him for Samsung LED Downlight with Meanwell Driver (Round or Square) with 1 year warranty (No GST) is as follows: 12w (6 inch): $42 9w (4.5 inch): $32 In the end, I found another contact when I was buying my wires to wire up my home and they are pretty famous in Singapore who is selling the same LED downlights as follows and can consider them as another LED source: (Do take note that Choo Chiang has GST) 12w (6 inch): $35 9w (4.5 inch): $28 The shop location is as follows: Choo Chiang Marketing Pte Ltd (Ang Mo Kio) Block 5070, Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 # 01-1511 Singapore 569573 Telephone: 6483 3233 (Can call to look for Angel and check price/availability of stocks, nice lady) Choo Chiang also provide 1 year warranty for their lights and they cater mainly to sub-contractors and hence for their distributor pricing. Gary is also a nice guy but his pricing is still slightly higher than Choo Chiang. I have installed my LED lights from Choo Chiang and they work very well too. (still trying to figure out how to post photos) Sorry to post here in your T-Blog, Shor as I will just like to share this good Samsung LED downlight purchase with everyone. I am not working for Choo Chiang nor am I related to them as I don't see anyone posting this contact. Lastly, I will like to thank Shor again for giving me Gary's contact and it opened my eyes for my purchase on good LED downlights. -

Hi movie247, Thanks for your reply and I appreciate it. Those are pretty gd prices for your fans purchased in SG. I was hopping that you may have gottehn them from Malaysia. Jiayou and hope your reno goes smoothly,

Thanks Wishie for your reply. Samaire ceiling fans are quite new and I am pretty impressed by the wind strength and their lighting kits are very bright. The 48 inch one I am aiming is also like yours but I may get the 5 blades one. Don't know if 3 blades or 5 blades got any big difference. Nicely done for your new house,

Hi Wishie, The moment I saw your Samaire fans...I have to ask... How much did you buy your fans for and from where? It must have cost more than $1000 for all the 4 fans. If I am not wrong, your 49 inch fan...is it the Dortmund fan?

Hi Movie247, Fellow Greenleaf resident at 523B here, Can I ask you where did you get your Crestar ceiling fans for and how much are they individually? I didn't see them when I went to Tampoi in JB and Tampoi said they don't carry too. Hope to have ur reply soon,

Come Home For Dinner, Ok!...[Repurchased 5Rm Flat In Tampines]
Ken82 replied to seowleng's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Hi Seow Leng, Thank you for your tips and feedback. I feel more assured to get the KDK fans then. Most probably I will get from Tampoi as I am not familiar with Yes Electrical shop. Ringgit $560 is a good price!! -
Come Home For Dinner, Ok!...[Repurchased 5Rm Flat In Tampines]
Ken82 replied to seowleng's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Hi Seow Leng, Can feedback how is your KDK Sensa 5 fan from Malaysia is working now? I am also tempted to purchase from Tampoi for this model and I think it is around Ringgit $580. (Only titanium silver available). I was worried the Sensa 5 may not match my black/white theme but yours look great in your house. I bought 2 black Alpha fans for my 2 other bedrooms and will love to have your feedback. -
Recommendations For Ceiling Fan With Lights
Ken82 replied to aquanark's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Samaire is made in Taiwan (according to the wholesaler uncle) and so far I am very impressed by the strength of the wind. The looks is also pretty nice and price is quite reasonable. The only thing is not many places selling Samaire. I personally not "feeling" Fanco ceiling fans now and I wanted to get KDK from Tampoi (JB) but I am worried about the quality and durable. Samaire has lifetime warranty for motor (not sure if so good) and has local warranty for 1 year if I am not wrong. -
I totally agree with what you mentioned. Heritage at Geylang has good service and the lowest price is always offered even to customers who just casually ask. I bought about $3000 worth of stuff from them and still planning on buying another 2 sets of ceiling fans as I checked around Jalan Besar, Balesteir and etc....they are overall still a very good shop to go to. I got served by the pretty girl, Yuki and so far she is very nice and steady,

Recommendations For Ceiling Fan With Lights
Ken82 replied to aquanark's topic in Electronics & Electricals
I saw Heritage at Geylang, they have the Samaire ceiling fan with lights. The lights come in 3 tones and is really bright, 56 inch if I am not wrong about the size. I may get the smaller size 49 inch with the same lighting kit for my bedroom as I don't need additional lights for the living room. -
Just for your info, I asked Tampoi Lighting Centre and they do not carry Crestar or Samaire ceiling fans. I also looking to buy Crestar in JB if possible, may have to check out other shops beside Tampoi. I also saw StarLite...if I remember the name correctly, it was beside Tampoi and blue color building....didnt get the chance to go in.

Yoz Bro, You touched my heart when you remember me as a Marvel Fan from my nickname hahaha. You are really good and bring delight to all of your readers, I seriously feel that after your reno works are all completed, you should still maintain this blog and continue to keep in touch with everyone. Thank you for the ceiling fans information. I also visited Tampoi last week and gotten 2 black Alpha fans. It is a pity that KDK does not have black fans as my theme for my house is only black/white. Hope that Elmark fan is doing good for you hehe.

Thank you Rosicky for the information. I ended up buying only 2 Alpha 40 inch fans (black color) at the moment. I am not sure to get KDK or other brands for my Living Room and Master Bedroom. Heard that Alpha not so good but Tampoi sales person said Alpha is Malaysia brand and very reliable and got good reputation. Anyone can recommend black color, modern looking fans for Living Room, Master Bedroom?

Can I ask what brand of fans are you using for you house? Seems nice and the design is good too.
