  2. This is quite true..seller agents may not want to entertain you and some even block you from viewing.Many agents do not want to deal with buyers without agent. This is what I experienced during my house hunting.My seller's agent told us he didn't want to deal with these buyers.

  7. Really ridiculous asking COV... Somemore not prime locations. As what some forumers said, some of these sellers are not sincere sellers at all.
  8. Initial plan is to move to west ( near my parents) but the asking COV is ridiculous and most units I seen are in very bad condition.. Now we are looking at east areas (Pasir ris, tampines) and hougang... ( near hubby's parents and our workplace) My agent must be thinking we crazy from west to east lol Ya that 558 uncle can wait long long for his 150k COV hahahhahahaa
  9. Ya thanks to the news on 1mil EM and much publicity on EM in prime areas that drive EMs in non prime areas also asking for sky high COV. However, I do read that some forumers bought with COV below 50k. I'm selling my punggol 5rm now just got our Val yday. I heard from one viewer her 4rm in punggol had offer of COV 45k
  10. Yours is prime location and nicely renovated. If I'm you I also must sell high. It's those units in non prime areas and in bad conditions yet asking for sky high COV.
  11. initially I am looking for EM at west areas (near my parents)..the val is lower but asking COV is sky high ridiculous like 80-150k or even more. We then start to look at east areas like Tampines (near my hubby's parents and nearer to my future office ) but also high ....but I see some forumers here are paying much lesser COV.
  12. Well said! Many people are ignorant thinking that pets are causing allergies. Many pet owners give up their pets when they have newborn baby. It's kinda sad ! Irresponsible
  13. Woah! U r really Heng! I know blk 471 that area all selling higher than st 42.. Of coz Val higher too. So the reason for low COV is coz owner doing contra? I hve viewed almost all listings in jurong west.. All asking very high COV.. That we even looked at different areas but still the same.. Offer got rejected again and again.. So kind of disappointed.
  14. Dear forumers, I'm in midst of my flat hunting and realized many sellers are asking for sky high COV but is it really the case most units are sold with high COV? Do share your flat type, location (blk no), valuation and COV paid and month/year bought. Thank you !

  16. Hi Jen78 Sorry to hear that. Have you moved in? If so, you might want to cover up your new door with clear plastic sheet just in case. ( I saw one unit doing that after their door was splashed with paint by loansharks. ) It's good to know your new neighbours and find out more .. His agent called my agent today asking whats our offer. She said Someone offered 630k for the uncle's unit. we almost Laugh our head off. if really true why still dont let go.Another unit in JE also asking sky high COV .. Said last offer 80k COV rejected : /
  18. Private house owners (condos/landed) can keep up to 3 dogs. Of coz you must apply license. Condo Mgmt has no right to forbid keeping of pets. License is by AVA.Pet owners also need to be responsible to ensure their dogs are leashed at all times and to pick up their poo.

  21. Just viewed a unit in jw high floor.. Asking 650k no less.. The Val there is only around 500k... Zzzzzz .. All asking sky high ridiculous COV
