Stainless steel also can become stained My staircase is glass and parquet ( realized that I replied wrongly to kooky.. Using mobile to reply is like that one) So have you found your unit? Thank you kooky for the kind words We are having glass railing and teak parquet for the stairs. Ya the staircase area is brighter after hacking the common room wall. Our MBR toilet is still dark My ID said we have alot glass.. Duno how we going to clean and maintain zzzz So far progressing ok lah.. ID also update my hubby almost daily. So far quite pleased with his svc. Hopefully the end results are good ( fingers crossed ) shall leave the reviews till the very last - handover

Was in amk central and came across this shop that sell cheap LED lights. According to the lady boss, these are from China. Aunty said " nowadays mostly from china lah.. Even Taiwan products also from china..." Thought of sharing this with fellow RT forumers, not sure if they are the cheapest. I saw these similar lights in Taobao too. Aunty said no GST and challenge us to look around first. They also have shop in Ubi.

Nothing wrong with using tiles.. Think just personal preferences.. Initially we chose wood-like tiles for staircases but after much considerations we decided to go for wood. Of coz tiles are easier to maintain and depending on the skills of tiler on how they lay the tiles.

Initially we also opted for tiles for our staircases but after reading some advices from fellow forumers, we decided to go for wood which is more warm, woody feel than cold hard tile feel. There's a thread " maisonette owners" which you can find out more from EM owners My ID also told us wood look nicer and the cost difference actually not that alot. No ugly gout line. Just read about your situation. Hope things are going smoothly for you now? I think they most likely wont insist on cancellation since they will be sued and their agent surely advise them not to do that. Unless they are testing water to see if you will drop out? I have ! " EM for a lazy couple and a dog" So have you got your unit? We viewed a few EM in tampines last time as well. There are some premium EM with unique layout and looks spacious. Blk 800+ also not bad near many amenities

Finally the common bedroom wall is hacked!!! The staircase looks brighter now with natural light. We will do a glass panel there. Will also box up the small lobang below at the staircase. Common toilet MBR toilet shower area
