  6. For our case, we chose to pay high COV over high COE. We are still driving our old car that reaching 10years in 2-3 years time. Given current high COE, suck thumb continue drive the car..

  8. Pls be careful when engaging fsm especially those that expect you to buy expensive ornaments and stuff. I had gone thru a surgery and got into accident within a year... So does FS really helps? Maybe to certain extent but not totally change one's fate. That's my humble opinion. Even the fsm I engaged last time told me FS only helps improve 20% the rest up to your own fate.

  12. Hi, I have engaged FSM for my current 5rm unit when we bought it 5 years ago. I am still thinking if I should engage for my new EM. How much you paid for the FSM service? Thanks.

  14. st 22..mid level corner unit with small recess area. the whole EM hunting was a roller coaster experience for us..from West areas (near my parents) to east (near in laws and future office)..the sky high asking cov from non-prime areas really a turn-off that we wouldn't want to pay that sum of money in these areas.Our offers were rejected few times (we actually offered quite reasonable abv average cov for those areas). Feeling disappointed and tired of viewing, we then decided to look at Bishan (near hubby's office). Our agent thinks we are mad to look all over Singapore except North & Queenstown.
  15. It's really true..thanks to the media coverage on EM..I have met many sellers who are asking for sky high COV in non prime areas that drove us looking at Bishan instead. Tired of viewing and moreover we just sold our 5rm ..so we decided to look at Bishan and paid a really high cov for the unit we really like.
  16. Personally feel that nothing to do if the house has been paid fully by ex owner thru insurance etc. they sell based on market price. In fact their asking COV for current market is considered quite ok for EM. I have recently viewed several units in the west and north west areas. Most asking COV are above 80-100k+ Since you have stated not bothered by ghosts spirits then just move in. Sell away once fulfill MOP. Like forumer said, did u ask them first before exercise OTP? Just to add.. Insurance may not cover suicide case .
  17. The EM are all asking 80-100k COV when we viewed units in The west. There was this unit in jelapang road which is vacant. Agent said owner already moved out but not sure why. The place look ok so so renovated but not to our liking.. Worst part is we saw a fresh red paint probably done by loansharks on the wall few doors away. I did a check and a schoolgirl commit suicide in that block but that's not really bothering us. If you really feel uncomfortable u might want to consider giving up ( but high price to pay) or just move in stay till u are able to sell off ? Just do simple Reno stay put first. I'm not sure if you are able to appeal. Perhaps you can seek legal advice if you are able to drop out.

If you feel uncomfy, you may want hire some religious teachers / priests to help perform some blessing or cleansing for your new home to get rid of negative energies.

  22. my seller is a very straightforward case..purely selling coz he's a retired teacher and moving to his children's place after selling so no need extend but I request extend for my buyer which they are ok at no charges hehehe
