That sounds reasonable! So are you going to have te brick wall? I was told by a contractor it cost 3k+ for a wall that need about 2 panels.

Thanks all! We finally confirmed our ID and will be selecting tiles this Sunday! So excited! Hope everything run smoothly. ID will submit with indemnity form kindly signed by our seller soon. Hopefully HDB approve ASAP so we can start Reno soon after CNY. Still waiting for FSM for tong du date. Will post pics of the unit after we collect keys on 5 feb. Anyway just to share something on wall panel design that we came across. Very interesting which may be a better alternative for ppl who like to have brick wall etc. the company is Stoneslike Creative that brought in this product. It's is made of fiberglass panel several designs that is waterproof, non corroding, weatherproof and does not require hacking and wet works. Can be done in outdoor and indoor. Look and feel like real bricks!! We will be considering this. Since no hacking required, we can do it after Reno complete to decide where to place the panels. They charge by per panel (1.3m x 3.3m) and installation charge by per panel. Craftstones alone is not cheap.. Not Including hacking and labour cost.. And also the time used to create real brick wall. Care to share how much cov and Val? Initially we also want to go for contractor but we are simply lazy and bz to do the coordination. Now we decided to go for ID. After comparing quotes between our shortlisted ID and contractors , we don't see much big difference. In fact one popular contractor in RT his quote is so much higher than ID. We got a shock hahahhaa

Miele is the brand .. Once I started on Miele I won't change to other brand anymore.

During our search for EM back in sep/oct, some units in west are asking 100k cov above.

Hi HappyAng Did you submit before you collect key or after? We are quite worried it may take v long coz we be collecting key a week before CNY and our ID only can start work 19th onward. That means 2 weeks+ wasted. We have gotten indemnity form signed by seller, not yet submitted.

Good that you can keep your marble and parquet flooring.. That can save quite a lot.

We will be changing the layout of the 2 toilets at upper floor coz the common toilet is much bigger than MBR toilet. Initially ID suggest we shift the toilet bowl but later the idea was scrapped. After reading that changing the location of toilet bowl will not be approved I think better play safe.
