you don't have to go through the hassle and spend a bomb to hack a tiles just to install laminate flooring, just overlay it will do. And as for maintenance wise, there is no issue of moping it or whatsoever (unless you are getting a china laminated flooring, this is because the difference between soft wood and hard wood). No trying to bombard the china laminated floor but it is because that product is unfit for our equatorial climate and hence it contract and expand more faster compare to the hard wood that we use locally.

if you like save some cost but are looking forward for a elegant or warm design for your tv area..you might consider to get a wallpaper done instead
