Eh... 10th August is Friday. 9th August is Thursday. Which is the day that i am officially shifting to my new house. i also shifting before lunar 7th month. Just got back home from taking over my new house from my renovator. Now have to go thru the house and see got any defects and email my renovator. Then he will send his workers down to do the rectification. I believe RP stands for RePurchase house?

Today didn't went up to my new house to see. Coz went down to Jalan Besar area to buy the hanging pole for bathing towels and facial towels. Went to quite a few area to find previously but cannot find the length i want. I need 2 x 48" pole for bathing towels, as well as 2 x 24" pole for facial towel. the design was plain but it served the purpose. The 48" pole cost $20 each, while the 24" pole cost $12 each. Finally found it at one of the shop at Jalan Besar area. Next on the list was glass shelving. wanted a 24" x 5" glass shelf. Finally found it at jalan besar area. bought the holder from 1 shop. a pair of it cost $8.50 each. The glass shelf cost $8 each. Now need to find clothes hangar liao. Need several sizes of the same design, so have to went hunting again lor. Will be fitting all these myself, as it was too late for my contractor to fixed it up liao. no choice, was quite busy lately that i dun have the time to go around hunting for the above stuffs recently, but its ok, fixing it myself is fun also.

Some pics of the MBR Toilet after paint touch up and correction and the toilet bowl instaled. The water trap and the piping under the basin was changed to the chrome pipe liao. The PVC pipe in the MBR toilet was repainted to a darker gloss blue making it contrast from the tiles. I kind of like contrast effects

The wall paint of the MBR has been applied with a second coat liao... now it looks nicer I request the balcony piping to be painted dark brown. The storeroom tic tac door is being painted to the same colour as the wall liao. They took the door down to paint it. The door handles for the rooms' door are installed. Plastering means to cover plaster the wall and ceiling to make it flat. Old houses used blocks to built, so the walls are not flat and sometimes can see the blocks outline. Plaster will made the wall flat and after that, painting over will look much nicer. Oh i see. Hope to see more pics. Eh... mine is not system 4 lar... it is system 3. Initially wanted system 4, one more to the living room, but then my kitchen is open concept, so will be waste of electricity to switch on air con in the living room lor. So decide to get only system 3. But wanted a Inverter System. The air-con is FOC from my renovator lor. Housewarming ar... dunno wanna have or not leh.. hahaha.. haven't decide. if have will let u know lor. if have, mostly will be in september, after all the dust have settled.

my current house has this problem lor... coz i on the aircon in my room alot, but my mum dun, so the trunking that is nearest to the compressor unit always got condensation. My mum said it is leaking, but when during servicing, they run the water thru the piping to flush it, but there was no leak lor. And when i see the water, it is more like condensation lor. Anyway, since the trunking is not box up, and my mum put a towel underneath to soak the water droplets, so i just leave it as it is lor. If ur ID is incharge of getting the air-con for u, then ask him to do something lor.. tell him to increase the insulation or think of solutions for u.

As of last nite, the air-con was installed. yeah. Some photos of it. MBR Mum's Bedroom Study Room My Compressor Unit Also, didn't know that my contractor run the drainage piping to the air-con under the tiles of the MBR toilet. When i was there, i was like puzzled, how come no drainage piping. But there was a trunking to the MBR Toilet, but cannot see the other end. Called my contractor and found that it is under the tiles. so it is hidden from view.

did u on the MBR aircon when u on the aircon in bedroom 2? i also got this problem, but during the last time that i do a servicing, they check and there was no leak from the ducting. it is mostly condensation lor. and this is mostly becoz the insulation is not enough. http://singapore-aircon-advice.blogspot.com/ Got the above website from one of the T-Blog here. Do read the advice and maintenance section. There are some info about water leaking and condensation. Its seems that if the air-con in the room nearest to the compressor unit is not on, and the other room are switch on, there maybe some condensation on the trunkings of the room nearest to the compressor. If the insulation is not enought, then u should get ur ID to increase the insulation.

hahaha. well, that is not leech lar. Ideas are being shared in the forum mah. i also found ideas here and there from the forums for my new house. anyway, my pebble wash supposed to be darker color, but the dust from the renovation makes the pebbles wash looks white. Have to wait for them to wash the place, then can see the contrast. Hope to see more photos soon.

Went up to my new house just now. Didn't take any photos as the workers are cleaning my house, and they are painting the final coat of pain for the master bedroom as well as touching up the paint works for other areas. Also feeling sleepy so came back home to sleep lor.. kekeke

i believe before PM Lee reach there, there will be oredi people knocking on his doors liao, or they may divert the attention to elsewhere liao

oic. so when ur reno finished, just nice, its after lunar 7th month liao. mine is at woodlands, 121sqm, will be moving in on National Day, just before lunar 7th month. Maybe u can post the original floor plan and let us see how much changes are ur design to the original floor plan. so how much was ur reno cost?
