well, check with others who had laminate and see if it is normal to have the sound. if it is not normal, then tell ur ID that u are not going to except it lor. they have to change it. Be more firm on ur decision lor.

oh, since u wouldn't be using the air-con so frequent, then non-inverter air-con will suit u just nice. The cost of most non-inverter air-con should be less than $2K nowadays. Look for ur ID/Contractor first and maybe they can get better pricing for u. So when are u collecting the keys? u got the floor plan oredi? btw, the flat with the famous $720K is at Kim Tian Place, not road.

did u happened to take any photos of it? if yes, then complain to ur ID and had them re-do or compensate. if not, then withhold ur payment lor... i am not sure about how the laminate is installed, but to stick anything to any surfaces, clearing away the dust is a must lor, else the adhesive will not stick properly lor..

If u like to always on ur air-con, or switch on for a period of time, then i would suggest getting an Inverter System if ur budget allows. coz in long run, it will help u safe money from low electric usage. my air-con is FOC from my renovator. Mitsubishi Electric Inverter System 3 (3x9K) not sure the exact model, but saw it Audio House that this air-con is $2.6K.

I dunno jap, wat's that means? I went to those hardware store and bought three long door handle, as i prefer those. each cost me $21. It is individual preference lor.. Since it is inside the house, others can't see it lor. I like long door handle, coz u can use 1 finger to push it and open the door, round door handle, still has to use the hand to grip it and turn... hahaha

The L Shaped Sink area. Sink will be undermount. The sink was just changed today. Yesterday, found out that they have cut the tap hole at the wrong side. Supposed to cut at the left hand corner, but they cut at the right hand corner. Call the sanitary ware shop and they replace it today. The cabinets to hide the rubbish chutes, The doors are installed liao. This is the soft close device that is installed in all my door cabinets, as well as the BIW which have doors. This help to close the doors slowly and prevent the loud bang. Very useful. Well, my kitchen cabinets is without any handles, and looks more simple. My mum was commenting that there is no design and looks plain. Very easy works for the carpenters. But i like plain and simple design. i find that it looks more uniform and soothings.

of course my renovator play the big important role also... he planned a schedule and had everything move according to schedule. even if there is some problems, other works will still continue. everyday, there will be people working lor. i have checked with my renovator, and he told me that this is to made sure that the tiles dun move up due to any temperature change and made sure the tiles are flat and level.
