Just wish to share. I tried posting a topic before about this company. But been a long time and was not posted up. Thus decided to post again as i feel i need to share a good ID with you guys here. Few months ago I took my house keys on December at Yishun. Initially me and my husband was having a headache about choosing an ID. We asked a few relatives and friends, and was finally introduced Johnson, from Dream Innovatus Home, by my uncle. His friend used this ID, n he said was very good. 1st thought that came into my mine was: really? how good can he be? isnt all IDs all about $ making? Well, Johnson proved me wrong. $ is just a standard income to him. The result of the house is the utmost importance.Throughout the renovation, he proved to show what he said: " I treat every customer house as my house. And i would not want my house to be trashy." He did it. When we 1st meet Johnson, he looks young. N made us feel insecure. But throughout the meetings, his 7 years experience in this line started to show. Questions we post to him was easily answered. And he explained in details, giving us greater knowledge of renovation. Having know what we needed, and filling in the details we missed out, we left and waited for his quote. Unlike other ID's (we've been to 2 more before meeting him), he listens patiently, carefully to us. Our budget, our needs and wants. Carefully, he will classify for us the needs and wants, saving our $. After meeting him for the quote and some adjustments, we decided on him. Again, patiently, he settled for us the reno loan, and showed us a calender schedule, explaining to us the days and works going on. Throughout the whole renovation, he will go up everytime to check on his staffs and the progress of the works. Constantly, he will also whatsapp me and my husband pictures to show the progress of the works. Maybe it is my 1st time, but i have seldom seen such sincere person who is so into his job. Johnson made second thoughts about IDs. There is still IDs who are doing it really for passion instead of money. to cut things short, our house was done up shorter than the speculated time frame of 6 weeks. We took about 5, and as we know, he still had 3 projects on hand besides ours. When asked how he managed, he actually told us, he has a partner. They work as a team. So when one person is busy, the other will go and monitor for him. I think all IDs should do this. All in all, we like to say 'Thank You' to Johnson from Dream Innovatus Home. Just wish to share. I got my flat a few months ago at 428B yishun. For sometime my husband and me were at a lost at what to do with the renovation. One thing was, we were low on budget, didn't want to spend too much. secondly, we've heard about the outside world of interior designers with hidden cost. We were at quite a lost as to who to trust, and who not to. We decided to ask around among our friends and relatives to see if they have someone they trust and have done their place before. Finally, my uncle's friend recommended him his designer, who did his mansionette house at shunfu road. We decided to give him a call. During the 1st meet up, we try to check with him on his history and such. Turns out, he has been in this line for about 7 years, and after so long, he finally decided to come out and open his own Interior Design business with his partner/ best friend, whom have more than 10 years experience. Through out the whole session, Johnson, our chosen designer, was very patient and understanding. He would listen carefully on what we have to say, and learn our problems that we faced. Patiently, he explained in details and let us understand how his company deal with projects. Even tho it was just the 1st meet, he gave us a feeling that we can trust him. Subsequently through the next few meetings, quotation was done in clean and neat format, everything is in details, and he would go through the quote patiently with us. Explaining everything so we would understand. A estimated schedule was even done for us, to tell us how long the estimated works would be. We did alot of changes to his quote, as we wish to cut down cost. He was understanding, and not once did he show any unhappiness. He also did his best to apply the RHB renovation loan for us. We had a budget of 35k. His final quote was 30k. We signed with him. The renovation was estimated at 5 to 6 weeks as it was a busy period. It took slightly faster than we expected. Thoughout the whole renovation, we went up to inspect 2 times during the 1st 2 weeks(somehow we still have to safeguard ourselves). Both times showed that it was as stated in the schedule. And Johnson would send us photos through whatsapp to let us know the progress. Subsequently, we only went up when we are free or passing by. Main thing is, we really did feel safe having Johnson overseeing the renovation. Initially we still did not totally believe my uncle's friend when he said good things about Johnson. Once the reno progressed, my husband n i started to believe that he is as good as my uncle's friend said. To cut things short, through this renovation, we realised that Johnson has indeed a flare for design. His careful planning, thoughtfulness, understanding and patience has bought us. We would strongly recommend him. Whats more,we heard he has a tv show coming up. Its about interior designing, and he was selected out of alot of designers to be in the show. During the renovation, he was also busy with filming the show, but whenever he is busy, his partner will attend to our house renovation progress. They work as a team, so no projects is left behind schedule. I think that is the spirit.
