haha no lah not 100k...not so rich...so far it's close to $70k including electrical applicances, the bed and other toilet/kitchen accessories...with the sofa and dining table, it should hit the $70k mark yeah finally...started after CNY, finally can see the finishing line after numerous delays the dry kitchen (around the island) is marble. wet kitchen is using homogenous tiles

study that's basically the main works...what's left are the mirrors for the dressing table and wardrobe, and a sliding door between the master bedroom and wardrobe / study... ID will be doing touch up next week...hopefully the house can handover by end of this month so that i can fully concentrate on the wedding in june... thanks! they're recommended by my ID

well, haven't updated for so long. been very busy with wedding prep and work. absolutely have no time to update on this thread. as i have mentioned earlier, i have engaged a second carpenter for the rest of the carpentry works. there was some unforseen delays so nothing was done for a week. well, that's in the past and he is almost done with the works...pretty satisfied so far with his workmanship. would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs carpentry works no frills shelves in the bomb shelter mini cabinets under the window ledges - master study THE dressing table for the wifey - mirror in the works design for the dressing table was inspired by the original "Kate" Dressing Table by Becher Bespoke you can see the pictures here shoe cabinet...looks very close to the perspective drawing TV console walk in wardrobe

after a long wait, the kitchen solid surface is finally up. apparently there was some mistake or something. the workers had to bring back the solid surface to re-do. that's between my ID and the workers so i'm not really sure what happened. here's some pictures... kitchen island baby hob...notice the groove line besides. it's for the glass divider to enclose the entire cooking area rest of the kitchen a broader perspective dining lights were also installed

unfortunately i didn't take any pictures of the cracks. basically they used marble gum to seal up the cracks, then polish over it. the crack line will be less obvious and u won't feel it when u run your finger along it. it's better than the alternative, which is to hack up that piece and replace with another. more issues might occur that way

carpentry works in the kitchen...all in a day's work! i'm having 2 set of carpentry works. the first one is provided by my ID - kitchen cabinets and toilet vanity tops. hence my ID will hand over the unit before the second one starts the second carpenter is recommended by my dad. he'll be doing the carpentry for the rest of the house, i.e. shoe rack, tv console, dressing table, study table & shelf, wardrobe, HSS racks, cupboards under the windows and a sliding door...his price's quite competitive. will share the pictures once it's up sometime in mid-may. fabrication in process now in the meantime, here's some pictures taken - day 1 vanity tops for toilet...

it's been a busy period for me, hence haven't had time to post pictures...here's some pictures of the skirting done... kitchen island

polishing & waxing completed for the living, dining & kitchen flooring...very glossy for now, before being covered by dust from the carpentry. there're still some cracks in some of the tiles so those guys would prob need to come back to touch up after everything's completed... something that my ID displayed on the wall...i felt so amused when i saw it... next update will be on the skirting...stay tuned...
