This is quite bad... the police might not ba bale to do anything.... what i suggest is that you take this sound clip and make a report at the police post downstairs, and ask them to give you a number to call once you hear this "violence act" again... another alternative... STOMP is a good way to make authorities work...!! just post it there, and then STOMP will contact the authorities... and then the auothorities will have no choice but respond to the case and then give a reply to STOMP...

The corridor can see... I saw during NDP... the small pocket next to the #300... Many people will come and see... sure crowded one... By the way.. what time the fireworks huh???

Millipedes The mini ones are lesser now, the birds doing a good job... But the big ones are out.. saw a few as long as 4cm... Washing of Corridors Mine was done some time ago, now its dirty again... got to wait for next round... Got one stubborn stain outside my door, even the previous "special washing" also can't remove... Fireworks Its gonna be crowded... just be careful... with so many people packed at the corridor, keep the kids away from the airwell railings...

There are a few young malays boys who always loiter at the MSCP garden... Saw them a couple of times at the carpark when i reached home late... I also witness once when they purposely stuck a mineral bottle in between the lift doors, making the lift unable to go down and the door open and close continuously... Dunno what they doing at the carpark garden late at night!

There's also lots of Millipedes at the void deck. Getting more and more these few days, prpbably due to the rain. Those which are stepped dead attracted lots of ants too... Dunno if HDB is doing anything... The gas heater is kind of useless... thinking of changing to instant heater... Need to wait so long for the water to heat up (to "bathable" temperature, not bathtub temperature) I've tried the other day and let the water run under a pail, the pail water was 3/4 filled before the water is hot enough... If i get the citygas people to come, will it actually helps?

Anyone using Hubstation? I need some advise... As for the conceal electrical conduits... By right, is cannot hack the walls... if i not wrong, HDB say must apply... subject to approval... Then again, depends on your electrician too... If they are those who have License one, they will not hack, cos HDB will terminate their license if kena caught...

if you and your husband cannot work things out during the renovation.. suggest you find a main con and let them handle everything... if you wanna handle everything yourself, you must make sure that you have time... carpenter can call you anytime, ask you go down to site and confirm something... if you can't make it, they can't continue work... hence delay is unavoidable...

You can add in a clause, Liquidated Damages (LD). This can be calculated by per day to per week... As for the amount, it varies... EG: if after 15 Dec, they cannot handover to you, you can claim them S$1000/- per day... this should justifies you claiming them money used to find alternate accomodation, transport, and inconvenience caused... etc... This is common in commercial projects tendered by main contractors... But then again, you must make sure that your design is perfect and confirm no slightest changes... Cos once a single small change is made, the contractor can claim that the contract is no longer as per agreed and hence delay is unavoidable...

Hi JS21, You might wanna try my contractor... He did all my Wetworks, Electrical, Ceiling etc etc... PM me if you are interested... As for the rubbish issues, lets take some photos and compile and send to the town council... And its raining these few days, any one spotted any potential mosquitos breeding spots???

Cleaniness Think the town council cleaners kind of slack a bit lar... since they clean so much also no use, cos will get dirty very soon... Pass by block 89 just now, theres a lot of litter thrown from the air well area... Since there's 2 ramps at both ends of the MSCP, one altenative is to make one for going up and one for going down...

Any one got near miss while driving up/down from the MSCP? They should install some mirrors along the bend... some drivers very reckless, especially those workers who are renovating the units there...

For 3.7 mtrs length of curtain rails, it can be in 2 or 3 pieces, upon installation, they can be fitted back to one full length and the drawing of the curtains will not be affected.
