What are they building at block 89 air well? Planters?

Hi fellow neighbours, We are still facing the problem of dog owners allowing their dog urinating at the pillars. I saw one dog owner, walking the dog. The dog walk pass one pillar, smell a bit then urine there. walk a few steps to the next pillar, smell again... and then urine a little bit more... some urine pool are so large that its leaks to the walkway... Today, i saw one lady dog owner, walking the dog along the sheltered walkway from blk 91 to 89. I suspect the dog is going to urine at the pillars. took out my camera phone, she saw and faster pull the dog away and walk to the playground. How can we stop this disgusting irresponsible dog owners? I have the following ideas, please contribute... or we set up a task force? - try to take photos of the dog owners red handed. then print out the photos and paste on notice boards. we just need one photo, thereafter, the other dog owners will be warned... - use chlorine to wash away the urine smell at pillars. without the smell, dogs will not pee there anymore. Dunno if it will harm the dog thou.

My in laws said it was reported in Chinese Papers. Jumped from 40th Storey, a Chinese Women, Private Tuition Teacher... Got eye witness saw her at 40th floor, loitering... but only know she jump down after hearing a loud sound... Very sad... third case... I personally believe there is a way out other than commit suicide... if a person has the courage to jump from 40th storey, he/she should be able to have the will and courage to face whatever problems they currently have...

Well... Minister visiting today... Noticing something this morning:- - Pest control van finally here, and was seen checking the drains for potential burrows... - Slip road completed and in use yesterday... - Some areas are cemented. (near rubbish collection bay and playground) Well, the minister will either alight at the sheltered drop off point and walk pass the playground towards Block 91, or alight at loading bay, walk pass the rubbish bay to the lifts... Can ask minsiter park his car at MSCP, so that the "Amanda loves Ah Boon" graffiti can be repainted... Can ask minister to alight at Sheng Shiong entrance, so that he will walk pass Blk 89 and see the Dog Urine at Pillar... Can ask minister to come earlier, so that he can see the unloading by Sheng Shiong suppliers...

the selection of the tile is wrong... beige color, yet with uneven surface... dirt will be stained on the surface... need to use machines to scrub, then will be clean. Kofu has a blue machine that cleans the floor... think that will work... BTW, a four room unit at blk 89 just sold for $555k!!! how come less than 5 years can sell? Sometimes, i really wonder if town council can do something to educate our fellow residents about cleaniness... Our blocks void deck are always dirty with litter, food leftovers, styrofoam boxes, etc etc... and most recently, at blk 89, a used sanitary napkin...!!!! yes... no kidding.... Floor file are never clean, dog urine are found at every corner... Well, the millipedes problem was never sloved, now i notice Centipedes... Cockroaches are always here... rats are applying for baby bonus, more small rats are seen... Do we need to wait for the rats to invade Kofu and Long John Silvers and then another Geylang Serai Case happens? When MP Baey visits, there's always a clean up... sometimes re-paint walls also... he will never see the real state of our 2 year old blocks...

CARWASH If you guys don't mind driving a bit further, or is coming back from Vivo City (must make U-turn), can try the SPC at Pasir Panjang. http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel...avel_site_6596/ In my opinion, this is the best carwash in Singapore:- - Cheap, @ only S$6/- per wash, vacumn is FOC, but do it yourself - FAST, at any one time, there will be at least 6-8 persons washing and wiping your car - Most important, its a MINDS project, we are helping them getting into the society. I kind of regular there already, though I only pump ESSO petrol, but i will go just for the carwash... Don't worry that they will scratch your car by not washing off the sand properly, there's a OIC overseeing the operations. (And if possible, let them keep the change lar...)

Due to problems with home internet, and travelling, missed quite a lot of updates recently. Missed the COP briefing too, paiseh ah, Chris... For a summary, would like to comment on a few things... - Void Deck tiles are very dirty, even with daily mopping and monthly washing, the black stains are still there. At Blk 91, the rubbish bins at the lift lobby are sometimes overturned and all the rubbish are lying everywhere. - Millipedes are still here and had reached level 5, maybe they took the lift!!! When will they reach all the 40 storeys and infested the whole 3 blocks? - At blk 89, there is always dog urine at one of the pillars near to the lift lobby. For those who know that particular spot, you will notice that the floor tiles are now stained with black spots. My wife actually saw the culprit red-handed, but did not manage to take photos of the man.

COP meeting Thursday / Friday after 6pm...

The sofa at block 89 is often used by the cleaners (or Bangalas)... dont think they will want to remove taht unless being ordered to... Our estate is only 1.5 years old (89/90/91) abd the condition is like its 10 over years... - As mentioned by some members, litter is often thrown from windows, tissue, plastic bags, styroforam boxes... etc etc... are the residents still not used to not having a chute inside their flat? - The rats that we saw, like 9 months back when most units are under renovation are still around... This time they are smarter and hide well... they are fed well, and had grown quite a bit... - Millipedes problems never solved... worse if they are stepped on.... cos ants will come and another pest arrives... - The void deck tiles is another stupid selection by HDB... even thou the cleaners "mop" the floor every morning, the black stains will never be removed... even the monthly washing seems useless... - Rubbish is often thrown around the chute area... the cleaners dont clear them at all... especially the block 89 chute, near to the carpark link bridge...

That day, I was doing big business in my toilet and then go out to meet my friends. Then my friends wanted to come see my house... Upon entering my home, one of my friends high tide, so straight cheong to the toilet and then....!!! (I shall not describe more!!!) **** PaiSeh lor... If HDB is not doing anything, shall we do a mass order for the toilet bowl, and ask one contractor to replace ours... Can save cost... and then ask the contractor to send all the Rigel toilets bowls to HDB Hub @ TPY... then ask media go see... hahaha.....

Toilet Bowl I also have this problem... Sometimes is back flow, sometimes it will leak water... dunno how to say.. after flushing, its like a continuous flow of a few streaks of water flowing non stop... When i open the water storage tank, can see that inside is only half filled... Happen about three or four times so far... Hamtam Bola Yes, they are back... damm idiots!!! Thought the town council aready warned them? Did not see the signs advising them also... LCD TV Bought my samsung 32" during March IT show at 850/- remember during that time, a Toshiba 32" was selling at 699/- (Audio House last 2 hours) Heard from a friend that LCD panels producer will no longer manufacturer any panels lesser than 32"... My 42" plasma HD ready bought 1 year ago was 1899/-, now a 42" LCD FULL HD is selling 1699/-
