Has anyone read e book MEN from Mars and Women from Venus? Most times man ran away from problems instead of facing u cos they do not know how to handle the situation. They do not talk abt the problems too cos this is in their character. IN the first 3 yrs of marriage, u will find that the relationship is constantly on the rocks. THat is cos u hv more responsibliity and burden to share which stressed both of u out. HOwver dun lose heart. Try to stand at his pt of view sometimes. IF u cant control yr anger when talking to him, do write to him or even sms. U will find that its easier rather than both of u start arguing and said ugly things. I believe yr hb do love u but is just escaping and hiding away from problems. Never give up so easily....Try and try ok???

It is true that alot of pple r becoming agents now since the property market is booming. SOmetimes its really disheartening to see all these unscrupulous agents. U can write a complaint letter to the company and I am sure they will serve them warning. Its difficult to get agents to lose their license cos they can join any other agency after that. HOwever, govt is taking action and by yr 2009, all agents hv to be CEHA certified and those without O levels will not b able to qualified.

Withdrawal Of Ownership From Flat
butterfly22 replied to rofy's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
Another important factor, if yr gf ROM with u and u also got another flat with yr parents, HDB may ask one of u to dispose 1 of the flat now. Also since yr gf is paying for the housing loan now, she might be consider a 2nd timer when purchasing another flat. DO call the hdb branch to clarify all matters. Transfering of name only needs abt 1K cash or CPF but the only problem is how to pay back the CPF she utilise for the flat. Go to www.cpf.gov.sg to view the housing statement to see the total interest incurred too... -
Yes, applefreak is right! However, I do not really advise u to buy first unless u holding a unit which is easy to sell.E.g 3 or 4 rm or in very excellent locations. Some agents might ask u to buy first then pressure u to sell yrs at a lower price later. After u buy, u will hv abt 6 mths to dispose yr current flat. Any extension needed in case u cant sell yr flat, HDB needs to see yr agent's advertising proof...

First of all, do chose an agent who wil draw up financial plan for u and offer u e best advise in purchasing a flat. DO not rush in selecting a flat. Its gd to engage an agent to help u to source rather than calling all the agents selling that particular unit cos they might hard sell... Sometimes, its very sad to know that there r agents out there who con and r unprofessional, but pls do give some of them a chance to serve u and judge it yrself. Fyi, I used to be an agent too but hv step down as part time doing referral cases only as I am teaching now. I am not selling my services here, do not worry. Not all the agents r bad so give yrself sometime to look around and ask frens or relatives for advice. Most importantly, do look up www.hdb.gov.sg for latest resale transactions and guidelines in purchasing a flat. 1st timer grant r important issues to consider. If u take near parent grant, remember, u can buy anywhere in Bishan(e.g) if yr parents stay in Bishan. Recently, the market r asking for sky high cash but newer estates like Sengkang, punggol might hv flats suitable for u. Keep yr option open. Can consider to buy new flats too..
