Suggest that you park some fund from CPF to shortterm investment. Once over, you might want to transfer back to CPF. We are doing that too.

Sure, if you have received the letter from HDB to collect keys, you will notice the clause b (things to bring) to get a copy of the insurance that you invest from CPF before Apr 07. It means that if you did buy an insurance using CPF before Apr 07, HDB will not deduct / wipe all of your CPF in your account. Reason, you need the money to be deduct for you insurance. Understand?

Just called my officer on the period to submit for the defects. She mentioned once gotten keys or before renov start. Also, liability is 1 yr but if renov start & complain about drainage prob then hdb will handle differently. so, i guess is not within 1 week that we need to submit for defects. Did any of you saw the clause b to submit copy of insurance thru' cpf investment? Did you? She mentioned if before the time slot, hdb will not wipe out all cpf $$ from you.

Has the status changed? like "HDB will contact you to collect keys soon"? IF yes, chase & tell them that urgent. IF No, you might want to wait till your HLE expired, and reapplied. For mine, i was told to fax them instead of reapplying thru' online again. You have to check your credit dept officer.

hi Zlia, you need to call CREDIT DEPT and not your customer service office Mr Quek, i guess Mr Quek is from SALES DEPT. Call CREDIT in the morning. And like i said times, for my case, CREDIT dept do not allow for extending the HLE. Not sure about you.

also, hubby now starting to draw the layout of our floorplan & design where he wants our kitchen & MBR layout. Yeah... so likely will engage a contractor to do our job. But still will arrange to meet up with the ID first. who knows...

what's your status? if "hdb will contact you to collect keys" , then you should call & chase them and tell them is urgent else, they will dilly dally one. also, my status to delay the keys to dec, officer said will get back to me within 2 days. i will contact them again if didn't receive any news from them. you must really push them

we went up to 27a #16fl today. saw a renovator guy walking towards us and wants to talk. vy fan.... today like very quiet at JM. 2nd round, drove pass at traffic light, we looked up and saw that our neighbour's window is open wide. that's what i think too, "paid for $$ - Option to Purchase" but it's not the case. i did ask my officer "i already paid $$$ in june , i can collect keys anytime" But if want delay/ defer, must really have a valid reason.

we have requested for defer collecting of keys till Jan, but unable as our Option to PUrchase only last 3 mths (since June), but can only extend for us till Dec. we havnt source ID/ contractor yet. Target to move in is May/ June 08

elaine, i am recommended by my friend but said their price slight increase as they won award after renov completed for their home. i will be likely arranging to meet them. Latest update on defer of keys have contacted my officer, but likely can defer to dec instead as they can't extend the option to purchase for us till jan 08.
