I would love to have an oven, even if No bake cakes, can roast chicken. heeee Show flat at where? yours is 5 room? forgotten liao Good Morning to all! so glad to see this thread is still active even at work.. ho ho

xlan, is it better to use citygas heater since already install for us? btw, for those visit the unit at 25A, did you saw the scv point in the kitchen? why would hdb install a scv point in the kitchen? for us to watch tv there? heee

actually, we are quite satisfy with everything in the house that we went for viewing. But ours is almost a mirror effect of that unit. Yeah! i'm interested and will have oven install in new home. You too?

If it's really 90 sqm, i <faint>. it's very small , just like a 3 room flat...
-
Hi Kriegs, No, you didn't see wrongly. I saw it at site too. But will it be "dangerous" to use water heater from citygas instead of electricity?
-
if you referring to blk 25A, no need to sneak in. it's officially open to go up except for other blk.
-
Hi Vacis, you posted the unit here. well, I can't recalled the unit. I think should be the same but the uncle said is 85sqm, anyway, it doesn't matter to me. Just felt it's a blessing being able to get a unit here.
-
Yo, why not laminate flooring? can share more? what is floating effect?
-
that's the unit that i saw too hey, that's the unit that i saw. To correct, that unit is 85sqm and not 90sqm. We did checked with the uncle because we saw the unit so small as compare to where we staying now. We went around 3-4pm but there's other pples viewing as well. He said the renov cost is <$10k with floor, kitchen cabinets, paint, ... I suppose we are the last because he's about to leave. Hope the owner of that unit is okay that we go in ...

xlan, that's not some kind of weird "design". it is actually one of the tiles - flower print design. And it appear on other side of the wall. Actually, i saw the hanging thing, very big lei, really headache whether to remove it or not..

Hi all News update: Just got back from 25A jln membina after viewing a unit. We are quite fine with the both toilet tiles actually. Alot done up by hdb. I like the main door & gate and the rooms door. Can use the $$ for other purposes liao. The contractor, uncle told me that 1 Aug already gotten keys. He said, we can come again if want to see his workmanship for cabinet (kitchen). Green, Good news for you. Today's straits times mentioned about new scheme for first timer who wants near parents, think is up to 4 times . Check it out.

Hi Green, Very happy that your bf stands & support you. And i do hope that you will get your new home soon. so, you guys already withdraw your application liao? Well, i did hint him the other night, he gave me a firm answer - No. Hi Simpleboi, you can copy the above listing & add into the list.. we all did that too
-
meaning, you give up the flat.. have you checked with hdb if can remove the occupier? it'll be a pity if you let go of the flat. But, decision still lies with you guys. all best & hope you have a home of your own.
-
what you mean saying reno high... do you mean expensive or?
-
yes, agreed with Seafaith. have discussed with hubby on the changing of the tiles after 5 yrs. rather take those $$ for other purposes.

Agreed with Pert BUT even if you & hubby wants to sell, his parents as occupier DON"T want, can it work? You need to think & reconsider like i said earlier. For me, is totally different from you. Before - Yes, move. After - No, stay. But finally, he agreed and now we are waiting for keys. BUT it's all still early for me to say anything. I would still think "What-if" hubby change his mind?! But i still pray to stay on own. You will have to talk it out before SETTLED. Else, you will have to try to accept his parents and think of the bright side. Also, someone whom i know, split (not really know the exact issue) even after they signed the Agreement for lease and few mths before customary. So, anything can happen. Property is bloom now but that doesn't mean will remains the same in 5 yrs time. *No offence*

who will be going to the Expo this weekend?
-
yes, i'm thinking of just "one" stand-alone top cabinet horizontally up and a full bottom cabinet. I do not want to do much spring cleaning later so if constraint to just limited storage space, i won't think of keeping so much of things in it. i like to cook & want to learn bake cakes too.. we havn't look for ID but don't intend to engage yet. cos' ours is a simple design so might use the one who renov this current (hubby's parent) home.

Hi Green, Since your BF already made his stand that he would like to stay with his family, i don't see the point to cancel your application. Whether "you own" or "in name together" , his family still stayed together with you. BUT, i disagreed that his sister staying together as that's still consider your home and not his parents. My colleague is facing this problem. It's under her name & hubby. BUT his family & sister stayed together and it appear that she only own the MBR. BTW, in the HDB - My HomePage, you should be able to see in "My Flat" below, there's an update where you can update to remove occupier. Check it out. Totally agreed with Dorcas. Green, if you can't accept the fact that you will be staying with your PIL, you will have to reconsider this r/s (no offend). it's for your own good & his good too. HI Dorcas i'm thinking only bottom cabinet & 1 standalone top cabinet

Not for me. YOU?
