our HLE has expired yesterday, so will reapply again this week.

To correct the above statement, i have checked my officer if can extend the HLE for us. But she said the Credit dept can't extend for us as we already paid the downpayment. To reconfirm the statement, best that you clarify with your officer in charged, to prevent any miscommunication/ delay in collection of keys.

yes, 2 kinds of heater. we might opt for tank heater as instant heater, disadvantage is that you can't really adjust the water temperature to suit you. Either warm / really hot water. currently, my parent's home using that and have this experience. Use gas heater, govt needs to lay the pipes so it's really not nice looking.

i guess we will install the electric gas heater instead of gas heater. Cos' heard from one of the ID contractor saying that the pipes will be layed outside ... not nice. Perhaps, im wrong. You might want to check with your contractor.

Like i said earlier, payment will be deduct if collect keys before 15/ 16 of the month. After 15/16 of the month will be next month deduction.

If you are <30yrs , therefore 5%. Else, will be 10%. It's all stated in HDB site Who else will be collecting keys this month except me

Just call your hdb officer, if expired, will have to reapply and takes 2 wks again. /sigh unlike me, hubby wants to set extra $$$ out for investment again so will have to wait... /sigh yes, agreed. quickly call and give them your registration number and they able to check. tell them that you need it urgent, and they will give you slot. else, they just leave it aside. Gadget, HDB already deducted 2 months of your monthly installment in mid Aug when you collected your keys. So, Nov is the next deduction. So, if falls on 16th of the month, CPF will deduct following month. yes, but hubby was thinking to invest / park $$$ again to invest before wipe out. No choice

Disappointed. I just received a call from my hdb officer, and that my HLE expired tomorrow. If Urgent, collect keys tomorrow. BUT, we felt too rush already. So, will need to reapply the HLE after expired and wait for the keys. And the rest will be announce by batches. oic, so is 2 months after key collection then monthly deduction.

Hi binzz, so you opt for homogenous tiles. That's my ideal too. But hubby was thinking of getting Granite. Because we have a dog, and worry she might pee on the tiles and leave the stain there. Yes, HDB will wiped out ALL upon keys collection ONLY if you are above 35yrs age. Else, will be another 5% (if i'm right). There's some pple here who only pay 5% downpayment & another 5% upon keys collection. For us, will be wipe out.

yes, totally agreed. Take the maximum loan and if you have $$ then shorten the loan. You can shorten the loan BUT not length the loan.

i have just called my officer-in-charged & finally answer my call. she said, earlier last week alot pple collecting liao & will check the status on what's holding back my keys. so, i guess dates will be out soon. Also, she said is released by batches. Yeah!!

o yes, so 3 from our blks have collected, so will be our turns. hopefully can collect soon, and quickly do up the renov. else, christmas / new year, the workers will be having long leave ....

i also have been checking hdb site but no changes. maybe cos' xlan is from enbloc so release to them first. Last weekends, we went up to our unit (27A), and happened to see the ID of 25A 6th fl, didn't know that he was following us to see which level we went.
