anyone using Barouqe? heard that their workmanship is no good and delay renovation work (4 months) ... and must always monitor them... anyone have experience with them already? can share here...

that's really bad for my case, uHOme (ID) is quite good. o ya. i find it quite useful actually after few visits of the showflats. me too prefer to have a corner for washing area. and perhaps a small area for doggy poo & pee.. thanks for the pix. small kitchen is for those who doesn't cook often. I have checked with hubby, and likely he would cook always if possible (if have a home of our own), even now staying with in-laws, he do cooks occassionally. btw, anyone buying those old fashion "wok"?

gadgetgal, actually, we did discussed over the weekends on the cabinets color and beige was what hubby wants but still have to conclude by US instead of HIM alone. haha !! retractable one - for hanging clothing purposes. we find it useful actually rather than the old style, bamboo pole. anyway, kitchen is not meant to hang cloths. think of it this way, you can't use the bamboo pole cos' the outside ones do not have the pole holes. so, you will be hanging the poles up there always even when you cook.... my opinion only ... Side track: is there a form to list down the defects? so, when will HDB rectify the defects list? how about the main door or gate?

Defect list? are we suppose to submit within a week upon keys collection? cos' i spoke to my officer, she said better is before renov cos' still have 1 year to report..

can't help on the cabinet as we havn't decide yet. But will keep the hanging retractable one. as for the oven, we will opt for portable one. As thinking of long term maintenance/ cleaning part issue, i abit worry. currently, we are using a portable one at in-laws place and not really use that EXCEPT for christmas, function. xlan, thanks for you pix & was thinking along that design too. But was worried that space problem. when pulling the retractable and hang clothings, worry will hit behind the sink there... then jia la

you doing parquet for your whole house? i guess, we will still do the shower screen (sliding ones) as the "swing" type like space limited. Existing in-laws toilet also using sliding one but still wet when users came out after bath. i guess, i will use both the sliding screen. i'm more headache of the kitchen layout & MBR layout. Anyone out there can show your kitchen & MBR layout here?
