Ohhh...$1599 for Queen size is cheap leh. Over the wkend we bought Maxcoil Ritz Chevron 8" full memory foam mattress King size for abt $2100. Comes with 2 memory foam pillow and a King mattress pad. Anyone seen a cheaper one than this? Hi, Been thinking whether I should change the normal height round tempered glass dining table with metallic stand to a low round wooden table with low stools for dining...sth like japanese style got low table, except that it comes with low stools is it ok to have low dining table?

Im having a headache selecting reno and move-in dates bcos of tight deadline wana move in before 7th month and end of our tenancy period, but in between got a lot of inauspicious dates. Could you pls advise whether the following dates for commencement of reno and move-in are suitable for my hubby and I? If not suitable, can pls advise what other dates are suitable from 30 July to 12 Aug 2007? - commence reno on 31 July 2007 (target to complete on 8 Aug 2007) - move-in on 8 Aug 2007 (if reno manage to complete on this date) or 12 Aug 2007 (latest date to move-in by 12 Aug cos last day of tenancy period) I checked the dates using a website, not sure how accurate is it. Seems the above dates are ok for my hubby and I, could you pls reconfirm? But for 12 Aug 2007-the Chinese calendar indicates it’s a bad day…it says don’t do important task…so can we still move in on that day since it contradicts the website results? I understand 30 July 2007 is not a good date for us to commence reno...can you pls confirm? If it's a good day, then we like to commence reno on this date. What time would you suggest to commence reno and move-in (for both 8 and 12 Aug or other dates you recommend)? Hi, the resale flat that we bought comes with a ceiling fan with lights below it...makes me dizzy... since the seller said its an expensive fan, i thot can jus remove the whole lighting part away from the ceiling fan, but the contractor say not possible. he said we better jus change the whole fan to one without lights. has anyone tried removing the whole lighting part away from the ceiling fan?

oh ic. haha i kept chasing him for detailed quotation some more. anyway finally decided he's too expensive for us as there is another recommended contractor with much lower quotation within our tight budget. thks for answering all my queries! do keep in touch heee

oh oso same prob as my son. weight oso dun change much, but whn sick really skinny. hmmm his fav word is NO oso! yah the doc oso say if drink milk, oklah. haha so now u gv him plenty lah...wht a change...tis is good guess i better not think too much about his food n weight...but the problem is our parents n in-laws r the ones keep making noise abt tis prob...as though its our fault...but if he dun eat/drink...wht can we do?? its easy to say force him lah. whn we were at their home, they themselves oso cant make him eat wat...so wht to say?? sighhh...

hi little blue bear! U cant imagine the DISASTER we experienced as a result of changing the milk powder brand. now my son totally dun wan milk powder!! Now we got sooo many milk powder cans opened...normal plain dumex (luckily almost finishing), choc dumex, enfa and isomil soya!! Luckily he stil take the isomil soya formula...wah really sweat man! i'll nvr ever change milk powder brand again guess its very difficult for children to change taste ho ah yr food idea is good leh! can try. thks!

Hi homeowner, Oh yah, i contacted him a wk ago. He happened to be free and his office was nearby, so we made arrangements to meet in the seller's hse. But its quite difficult to get a breakdown quotation from him, he's been very busy since and gave me a lumpsum range of figures (got such thg???) which we find quite x actually (abt 1-2k difference fr other contractors). Anyway we wanted to give it a try, but he keep delay giving us the detailed quotation. I told him we really cant wait anymore. Moreover i told him our tight deadlines and he hasnt committed yet. Sighhh... Seng Kwong is another one...probably even more x. They say will immediately email us the very nite we met. Haiz now oso no news. I oso fed up keep chasing all these ppl for quotation Thks for stil being around to give advice!! hehe Do take care

oh dear! tis is terrible leh. wht do u mean they cant change for u? they delivered the wrong thg n hole some more. i oso found them to b v careless ppl! we selected 2 colours for the fabric sofa and 3 cushions (2 beige, 1 brown). the guy wrote down all the colour codes in the invoice. after we left, i was looking at the invoice and discovered that the guy has mixed up the colours for the cushions-2 brown 1 beige. although can accept it, my hubby said if i really want, can go back to change. so we went back to the shop to change. somehow this time i decided to check the colour code against the sample colours (scared liao!!)...and u knw wht loh...one of the colour codes was wrongly written-white colour instead of beige colour. jus imagine if we had decided not to change the colour of the cushions which was quite minor actually...we wouldn't have discovered that one of the colours for the sofa was oso wrongly written

Angelwrath n alberttcs...when u all moving in? doing reno? selenal...which block u stay? im quite excited too! we bought a unit at Blk 354c...aiyo been waiting for ages. we first signed the OTP in mid mar but had to wait for valuation report, so was able to exercise it only on the last day. every stage oso got delayed cos seller do contra, complicated. 2nd appmt is tis 25 jul but owners wana stay till 28 jul. wana do some minor reno...so target move in b4 7th mth start wow...they wana convert part of hdb office to ntuc? then wat happen to the ntuc at sun plaza? haha as for the sembawang shppg centre...they totally reconstruct the whole bldg isit? yah wonder wht they do. i thot not much biz there. the kopitiam alwys empty wow din knw got so much gg on in sembawang. been staying in woodlands for the past few mths cos the old landlord kicked us out, so need to rent short term while waiting endlessly for the handover of our new hse hehe if u got more news, do update here

Hi dizzy, Hmmm actually the days when i cook, me and the boy will eat together at the coffee table cos low enuf for him. My hubby will eat later cos he alwys work late When we r out dining, this boy ah…most of the time wana pou pou. If he is in good mood, he'll sit on the chair. He doesn't like sitting on high chair. Sooo our dining out experience is a nightmare. Also, he likes to self feed but he's v clumsy. End up...he use his hand to put the noodle etc in his mouth...he won't let us put the noodle in his spoon. In fact he dun let ppl touch his food Warm the fresh milk...heee good idea! thks Haha u oso wake up at nite...we got plenty in common leh!! My son oso always nightmare leh!! Every nite he'll cry suddenly calling daddy, mummy then nan nan...after he drink, he fall asleep. there were occasions when he woke up twice n i had to feed him twice. Yah i oso feel like wana stop soon...otherwise will continue til duno when yah we sacrifice sooo much ho! sometimes really feel the strain wonder how ppl with > 1 kid cope?
