Hi all, 1. Dining Light We bought an extra dining light because we couldn't decide on which one suits our theme. Hence now we have decided and would like to sell this light @ $70 (my loss your gain). Item bought from TB. It will be cheaper cuz i absorbed the shipping charges. Light has 3 colors (switch on and off to change the light color) 2. Hi trdseal, yes I recall they sell korean and made in taiwan type of downlights. you gotta tell them which ones or even your price range.

Quick update: Vinyl Flooring is up. Carpentry is I would say 30% up. Accessories for bathroom are 90% up. Lights are 90% up. Kitchen is 30% done. Living room is maybe 30% done? Pending other minor works and touch ups. Hopefully can be handed over to us soon and we will start the tedious process of cleaning n more cleaning. currently facing reno-fatigue. lol hence not much/any updates from either of us.

Yes very slow progress indeed. 2 weeks of carpentry works?! and till now they can't give us an estimation when we can see the carpentry or even hand over... this is delaying a lot of furniture delivery and stuff from happening... I feel that the way they work. Their 'foresight' or planning is really bad.

erm... just a quick update... its now a 2 week break while we wait for carpentry to be installed. installation of fixtures/lights should be in next week... hoping our tb goods will be in on time for this. Thus far 2 coats of paint up, gas pipe linked, false ceiling up, wires all ready too. haha pictures gotta wait a bit

Can any kind souls out there help/ have a step by step guide on the cheapest way to buy from tb? Popped by yesterday to meet a vendor and was pleasantly surprised that almost 80% of the defects from the 2nd list has been rectified. Even some that wasn't too specific (but we did stick masking tapes) was rectified. Hopefully can get sign off everything by next week and we can start reno! haha

Thanks for the pictures and ideas! We are still waiting for our key collection and finalised 3D drawing...zzz I personally expected a faster turnaround from the ID/drafter for some mistakes/changes... oh well maybe thats just me..

haha thanks koori, i think i got the price wrong. should be around 629 bottom freezer yes but for mitsubishi larger capacity they only have the normal freezer on top... and frankly doesnt make much diff to us... haha

Went for a walk in Gain City and conclusion as follows: Seems reasonable: Washing Machine front load - LG (9kg) with steam wash function (1399) Dryer - Electrolux (7kg) (700?) TV - Pyschoed by Sales guy to not look at Sharp but at Samsung (read abt horrible Samsung aftersales but those are Fridges and not TV so still thinking) Sound System - Sales guy say no point buy those Onkyo/Denon cuz you can't blast... get those off the shelf kind.. Fridge - Quite keen on the Mitsubishi 2 door (1199) Of course all these are from my point of view, will need to drop by again with the wifey to look see again before firming up... Can't wait to get our keys... haha
