    Marble solid top coming SATURDAY!! SY Windows and Bifold doors supposedly today, Edmund wants to push it to after plumbing. Room doors TOMORROW! Carpentry touch up TOMORROW! glass door and vanity NEXT TUESDAY! Plumbing NEXT WEDNESDAY! Chemical washing NEXT SATURDAY! Handover also on Saturday. Monday all the furniture will come in. Then....... Paint door following Saturday! + paint touch up

    Sprayed handles: Ceiling fan with medallion Same fan but in 46" size for both bedrooms. The fans look comically large in the center with shorter blades... Lol. Prefer my current model look but works well. Also a bit low on the ceiling...

    My gold DIY... Hopefully it is lasting. Hahaha. We did many thin coats plus a sealer coat... Not perfect for the handles (for about 2 of them) but still looks alright. Waiting for it to dry tomorrow! Bathroom Vanity Living room medallion Kitchen beam... Had to fill it up due to the glass door

    Nothing beats cleaning by hand one leh. I'm buying steam mop and electric broom for my new house; also the spray mop. But these are for the "light cleaning" days. Gave up on the Roomba, cus scared my rabbit zhua jio then spread it across the house I pengz. Once a week still must lug out big vacuum; traditional broom and mop and pail to clean the whole house then will clean one. Plus use the Daiso dust wipes (magic wipes refills) to clean the furniture. Shag, but only liddis then clean leh!

    Haha, stand by for invites. UPDATE: Edmund is awesome! he met swiftly with carpenter today at 11am to rectify everything and help me dismantle all my handles. In the process, one drawer front laminate was damaged so he quickly sent it back for repairs. I've also requested for 2 more knobs for my guest bathroom vanity. We need to fast hand fast leg spray everything and let dry today so they can come back within this week to rectify everything. Hopefully it'll all be smooth now (carpentry wise)!

    Mine is all drawers apart from the sink area... Only big drawers Blum, small cutlery ones are just normal soft closing!

    I never thought of it as quaint before! Haha! Thanks! But somehow I think things worked out. I think this combo suits my tiny kitchen better than the "country" design I was going for. With the gold handles and marble top, I think modern classic will really pop instead of just classic!

    Mine's wood like tiles.. I like the low maintenance but as Ah Yong said... vinyl is a great option too. See what you fancy!! Seeing the real things will allow u to choose what u like better.

    It's this one (mainly for cleaning countertops; taps / sinks / even floors and walls). For taps and shower screen, just use Daiso version (melamine sponge) can already. Cheaper. I use this for my countertop and tougher stains! For cleaning dishes, I also recommend this sponge... Not gross like the usual ones that leave food residue on the rough side; and safe for WMF pots!

    Aye, I'm very impressed with you guys!! Both of you. So many design ideas! Like super ONZ about the reno. My hubby is like solve problems only. LOL But that said, I am grateful he lets me take the design reigns... I do design for a living (though not ID) so hopefully nice, if not very pai kua.

    Hopefully!! BTW really thanks for the Blum insistence. Worth every penny. Though if it were white I think I will die of happiness. Hahahaha. Hahaha! But I use instant kettle kind. I found this champagne gold one from Philips... Should be getting this. BUT I did find some chio vintage kind leh!! And yes, I do love tea and London must have tea!! Cute, but not practical and high maintenance... HAHA

    Yours was great cus special! I'm hoping for mine the marble look countertop + the gold handles would make it pop more. If not look very bleh leh like showflat standard kind...
