  1. Yeah it's very relaxing! Can't wait for Monday since most of my stuff are coming on Monday. Thanks for the kind words!! Can't wait to see it all put together! Monday: Fridge, Washer Dryer and all big furniture will be in Then it's packing all the way till 20th when I will receive all my carpets and decor pieces Then move in is on 22nd!
  2. Where got so easy... Sinkies standards are very high!! Will do. Doubt it will though. Many have commented that items are of great quality! That said, if outside rust still nvm can use rust remover from Daiso, is inside rust then troublesome. Haha!
  3. I'm glad I took that leap of faith!! Thank you. I don't have an ID! I designed the home on my own and hired a contractor. My contractor is Edmund from DX Interior. You can let him know from Kara.
  4. Been here since the morning - waiting for someone to collect my old WCs. We sprayed all the handles again for the kitchen, sprayed the final coat for my coffee table... And everything looks great. Will re-spray my bathroom mirror and spray my new bedroom mirror gold, too. I KNOW, a lot of gold. And here's a short video of the fireplace in action: (The fireplace makes no sound - that is ambient noise)
  5. Think this is more of This is the ID / Contractor who post good things about themselves pretending to be a customer... So we automatically add these people to the blacklist
  6. That means more than you know. Thanks for the kind words. I am glad it's almost over!
  7. Thanks guys. Yep, most of the holes in the laminates are fixed and hood repositioned. I also feel good about my Blum hinge so hopefully they can get that up for me today after painting the joints Then I can screw in my gold handles alre
  8. Lots of repairs today that was quite good IMO. Was happy with the carpenter boss who did come down before work started to brief them and then again before they left so he could check on the work with us. Really looks much better now. Tomorrow they're dealing the joints of laminates and I bought a Blum hinge for my top cabinet separately (long story) which we will ask them to install tmrw and discount their hinge from the final quote.
  9. My doors changed to the right side but as my bifold doors open OUTWARDS instead of INWARDS, my door is inside out. They are not the best of quality I must admit... But it looks ok with the rest of my house. Haha! My "nice" silver handles are inside the bathroom instead of normal ones that are outside. It's a bit weird cus the mechanism of the bifold door is outside instead of inside so it takes a bit of getting used to. But the effect when the door is closed still looks okay to me... If I regret it a bit down the road I might upgrade to a PD door since this wasn't too ex. Can't wait for the doors to be painted (next week, together with my mint main door and touching up the wall paint of the house. The panels are LIGHT GREY not white. The frame is white.
  10. Haha sorry! The carpentry had loads of defects that sent me down the spiral. It was all fixed today but not without some drama the day before. Glad it's all good now! Thankful for all the support! How's your packing going?
  11. It's actually solid top. I've tested it many times before I decided on it. The Quartz counterparts aren't the best IMO, this looks like real marble in real life. Similar Quartz are: caesarstone's frosty carina or London grey Silestone's lagoon or Lyra
  12. Thanks bae!! It's prettier in real life haha. Hopefully I won't regret not going the Caesarstone / Silestone route! Haha!
  13. Im so happy with my top! It's so chio and Evershine workers are so meticulous and awesome. only the dang salesman is the 老鼠屎 Sneak peek!! More pics after all the gold handles are up and they affix my flip up cabinet with the Blum hinges. They also fixed the carpentry after my hubby's flare up. So happy!
  14. Haha! Didn't know the fireplace would cause these kinda response... My biggest fear and baby is still the kitchen...
  15. Thanks! Myself included. Monday can see the 80% result alre!
  16. I got my 680mm under mount Monic at a good price la. Around $300 only. Compared to a Kraus still big diff heheThe Kraus I wanted was $600+ usd with shipping I think? Haha! I didn't know Monic was an expensive-ish brand
  17. No good la, house small no space for 3 groups of people. Now leftover sink / hood all inside the toilets hahaha!!
  18. Sitting in my MBR toilet while the solid top people, haulage people and carpentry people are here all at once... My house really is No work then no work Got work all come together -.-
