Hey there! Thanks for the wonderful words. Yes, I went to see some custom-built shaker style cabinets in Singapore and still didn't love them. Meh. I like my glossy white cabinets now anyway because they are a breeze to clean! Seriously, just wipe off. I love all my tiles. No complaints there. Easy to clean, virtually indestructible, and gorgeous. I've had tons of compliments on them! If you wanna come take a look, leave me a PM. I'm sure if my husband is at home we could let you guys in for a bit. -
AZ Interior are the people at IKEA Alexandra who does the installation for bathroom and kitchen cabinets. When you plan your IKEA kitchen cabinets with the IKEA peeps upstairs (at the kitchen area) they can actually liaise with AZ interior to make certain modifications to suit your kitchen better. I was already waiting for kitchen shipment when I cancelled my order -- so I did the entire process. They are professional and quite good there. I THINK it's AZ interior la! Cannot remember their name. BUT never go to the Tampines one AT ALL COSTS. Just go to the IKEA Alexandra branch and use their installer there.

Babe, speak to the peeps at the AZ interior at Alexandra. Also the kitchen designers there. They can alter the cabinets to hide existing piping.

Apartment Therapy is indeed awesome! Twas also part of the reason why I photographed my house lived in, too. It just seemed more real that way. Just completed homes can look a bit sterile!

Thank you. The renovations cost me about $21k. I didn't opt in for the flooring so I paid full for the new cement screed and the tiles. Same for my doors etc. Also my master bathroom and kitchen costed the bulk of it. Hope that helps. -

They are dummy drawers I requested to match the look of my cabinets (all drawers across). My sink is very deep so the dummy drawers work well for me. -

Dien, try the melamine sponge from Daiso, wet and then clean gently but repeatedly can clean stains from the wall Don't clean too hard paint will come out haha but I use it to remove dirt stains all the time. -
Oh tea leaves are a good one!! Mine smell amazing cus of them too! I also opened all and used air purifier in the kitchen for a few days. Hah!

I only use cruelty free stuff if I can so I recommend Method all purpose cleaner (I use it for my countertops to clean, the Selffix red one for solid top and then the 3M stainless steel cleaner to polish)... The Method one is not bad already... I spray, leave on for about 3 minutes (usually go do dishes) then wipe down with magic sponge and then wipe dry with microfiber cloth... I try to use less harsh materials on my top unless it's really a stain that cannot get out (which is rare esp for yours). I also clean after cooking every time one so don't need to be so powerful. Haha! Polish once every week. Then steam clean the floors hehe

Second charcoal and baking powder. Daiso has charcoal packs, and NTUC has baking powder packs (for deodorizing) at around $1.80.

The Itsmo is my favorite!! I might've gone with it instead of my solid top should I have found it earlier. But no matter... Can always change it in a while if I wanna change my sink. Quartz shouldn't really yellow over time, right? I mean, that's the whole reason why they're charging a premium for it, right? What's the fav in your heart? The yellow/cream streaks you've placed as a choice, but you don't really seem to be considering it hahaha! Anyway
