Ugh, contractors always only show true colors after the work is almost complete... It's like at the end they can't be bothered already. Hope you get the crack resolved! For the marks on the flooring, try using melamine sponge to slowly coax them out then u can have a straighter line! I've used melamine sponge to remove paint marks the touch up caused on my bi fold doors and floors.

I got it from Groupon during a sale. I believe you can find the same one on Qoo10. It's called BLMG or something, grey sofa bed on Qoo10. The sofa is very sturdy and quite comfy and useful, but the fabric rough. I usually use a fleece blanket over it! I feel like I've shared with you before previously... But maybe I gong already. I sent you a PM Thanks! Hmm true also. Should've gotten 4R lor me. But no luck! :/ I understand that. Do you have a space for a credenza, or faux-denza (GORGEOUS) near your dining table that wall? Can put a small printer and keep all supplies inside. I used to have one at my rental! Google Faux-Denza, LOTS of ideas even can build table!! Small unobtrusive one la! -
You mean my digital peephole right? This is how it looks from the front. If you want a more frontal pic with the gate let me know. For the sponge, the pure white ones work fine. I got these, big and small size (cubes + larger rectangles) to clean my sinks, taps, showers etc. Then I use the melamine stick to clean my tub, WC, and glass showers. Both should work the same way! Just that the blue stick easier for bigger areas... This stick always OOS. I also got the smaller version of this blue stick for my WC. Works a charm. My sinks / taps / shower glass are always gleaming...

Haha, I've always been here. You guys just miss my comments. Anyway, mine was a $58 one from TB, and runs on Lithium battery. $58 (+ shipping) gets me 2 batteries, 8GB microSD card, and the peephole itself. If you need a pic just let me know, I'll ping you on how it looks on my door. I do know there are some where the front peephole looks like yours though, so not as big and squarish as mine does. I LOVE these big solid wood pieces. IKEA just brought in one and seriously I've drooled over it for ages. I couldn't sacrifice one bedroom if not I would definitely have a full dining area! It's the best for entertaining, so I totally agree with you! Yes, I recently posted pictures of my office. though I must say my shelves are still lacking (hopefully a trip to London would help me with that!) but I guess unless I go to the US I won't be 100% happy with what I find here (everything pretty is so expensive it's ridiculous). And!! Go to Daiso, get the melamine sponge (they have it in stick form, or just get the bigger individual pieces) and clean your shower screens with those. They work a CHARM on glass shower screens and leave them streak free and sparkling. I use it every week on them. Either use plain water or spray some white vinegar solution and wipe down with the sponge. Works wonders, trust me. I use the sponge for my sinks, taps (they will SHINE) and the stick for my WC as well.

I use the same Philips ceiling lights. For the square one, the 22W is more than bright enough for my dining area and my kitchen. Same for a 5R kitchen, my friend is using the 22W too. It is dimmable so I usually use the least bright option as a night light in my kitchen at night. The "dimming" is done by switching it on and off lor. 3 times only. But it's quite smart, defaults to brightest option every few hours turned off. For the round ones, the 12W is more than bright enough for toilets, the corridor and the bomb shelter. In fact, for my bomb shelter I used a 8W LED bulb only. More than bright enough. My bedroom lights are light kit with my Fanco fans. They are only 18W, but plenty bright for both my rooms and my living area (though my living area is tiny). HTH.

Hey Sazeryn, the gold faucet is working great. PMed you. Hmm, you can use 65daigou to help you purchase it. They can guide you from beginning to end using Buy4Me option. I think the chairs worked out to be about $120 per piece after shipping... -

UPDATES ON TAOBAO ITEMS AFTER 3 MONTHS: After 3 months of living in and washing the house, our Taobao stuff have held up to the test. Kitchen tap, Hansgrohe shower sets, Hansgrohe taps, and the "Hansgrohe" shower accessories (two towel racks, two toilet paper holders) have not rusted at all. They are also easy to clean. The shower sets are "green" as they promised, as we noticed our water bill is much lower compared to our friends with Grohe rainshowers (that are tiny) and we have a bathtub! The carpets also are fine, except the long kitchen ones that are not suitable for pets! I've since bought new microfibre ones from Groupon. Hope that helps! -

Loving the new RT forums! So much faster and more intuitive! Anyway, last portion of the house to be completed, my home office. I work from home so this is what I look at on most days. I still haven't finished with the shelves, but I suppose I'll never be done with them unless I travel. HOME OFFICE PHOTOS: It's a teeny room so I had to work hard to get everything in + not have it too crowded. It's also made up of moving pieces so that this room can become a nursery / toddler room if needed, or guest room, or just remain a home office for the husband and me. The grey sofa is actually a sofa bed, which makes this into a spacious and functional guest room should someone come over. The side table you see in the pictures is the BEFORE of a DIY project which we never got around to yet. It will be marble top + gold legs. Haha! The blue chair is a reading chair. Zooming into the area we have the shelves with spacious drawers for all my business folders / home bill folders + tech stuff, plus loads of space below for my law books, business books and printers. The top two shelves are for decor (since this is what my clients see on a call), but they're not quite there yet, I know. I chose the wall decor because it was the cheapest but chirpiest option! Also, the Giroud jersey framed is signed by the player and has TO KARA on it. This is my most prized possession, followed by my team signed ball, which I've yet to pump. HAHA. Another view On the other side there's my desk + whiteboard for everything. Love the acrylic stickers from TB, so cheap and really fits the room! And my copper wall clock. I brought in one of the poufs for my short legs... Hahaha Closer desk view And with that our home is officially complete!! -

Thanks for the kind words! I actually envy the open kitchen space. You could do so much with it! You are most definitely welcome to PM me about my contractor. I have dropped you a message. Happy Chinese New Year! I'm doing Duolingo in French everyday, too! Hehehe Sending bisous back, and yes, tres bien pour Arsenal! That's the best I can do without using Google Translate. HAHAHA Hey Chrissie! Thanks for the kind words. 1. eh, I can't remember for sure. Think $2xx each. On the lower end of $200. 2. They are from my contractor's contacts. I don't have his direct contacts. I did change the door knobs, though. They were $200 per door, semi-solid timber classic doors. 3. I will PM you! As with all contractors and IDs, some things good some things close eye la... -
