  1. I got Aroma 46" X 2 at $330 each iirc (excluding installation) And aroma 54" at $360 From Hong Liang! You can look for James and tell him Kara's friend if the price is good for you.
  2. Haha cats are quite independent, no? Pets are more work but sometimes make a house so much more cozy
  3. Their system sometimes captures the ORIGINAL price not sale price For 65Dg you can always edit the amount to what u see on the TB page. Wrong then they ask u to top up or refund u the difference
  4. Haha I am looking forward to your home! I'm sure it will be beautiful, too. That said, RT is only a handful of renovators la... One BTO estate so many houses, we also don't know what their theme is. Maybe the trends are more prominent on RT that's all! And I agree with Peachy, this forum is so positive and so much fun! There are forums for negativity but this one is defo not one. Irs encouraging, supportive and open!
  5. At least the issue is solved!! Haha Reno is really full of ticking time bombs, usually easy to solve but in that moment so lost and zzz about it.
  6. TB Hansgrohe are also MIG. There's nothing wrong with people preferring brands. Just because a lot of them are buying it now doesn't mean they didn't know of it in the past. A lot of my neighbors use Hansgrohe and Grohe in their parents' homes so they use it in their new homes. Others have no chance of choosing the fixtures so decided to splurge on good ones for their homes. I understand that a lot of T Blogs are similar, but everyone is just sharing right? Having a more "different" home doesn't make anyone more superior than others or give one the right to be more judgmental. I will never do Scandinavian or Industrial doesn't mean I will bash it, I still enjoy reading their journeys and am glad they shared. The sense of community is awesome and I've had RTers over already and became friends. But I won't say anymore la cus I don't want to come across as defensive or on a pedestal... I just was quite sad cus I always enjoyed coming here and leaving encouraging comments and help to others just as many have done for me and others in the past - even if a lot just ask and don't reply - the community has still been awesome. Have a good journey renovating everyone!
  7. Funny you say that. I did modern classic and European exactly because I wanted to avoid Scandinavian and industrial. I don't think my house is the norm at all... But I do believe that everyone should just do anything that makes them happy and it's not up to anyone to judge la. What's nice to one person might not be what's nice to others right. The beauty of Renotalk was the friendly and helpful community I guess. As long as everyone is satisfied with their homes, that's the most important part.
  8. Love the wall tiles of the bathroom! Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed your eclectic home.
  9. My bunnies enjoying the soft carpet at my dining area. They are still concussed there right now. I don't lie when I say this is the softest carpet ever. Good buy! My Christmas tree is up! I would love for it to be a little "thicker" but this one has always been quite sparse. Lazy to buy a new one. Haha! And my fireplace. More close up shots soon. FIRST FOOTBALL NIGHT!! Moar updates soon!
  10. Woah! Your renos seem quite fast. Congrats!! Move in seems imminent.
  11. Thanks Nextstep! I've gotten some help from Ah Yong... Hopefully will not need to go squeeze at Sitex.
  12. Babe, check out Taylor B? They really have some good pieces. The customized dining chairs look gorgeous! I don't know if I'll regret down the road to not do the wall beadings / mouldings hahaha. Excited to see yours
  13. Ok. Range extenders are cheaper right? Hmm... I might go there but very worried how crowded it might be haha! Thank you!
  14. Thanks bro! Means I can just buy a dual band wireless router and plug it into the data point straight right? Will do tmrw. thanks!
  15. Any bros good at networking? Actually I have a very simple problem la. I have already converted my tel ports to data points. I now need something in my study (that's in the middle of my house) to boost the signal to my MBR. Do I buy another dual band router to plug into the data point in my study? Or do I buy a wireless repeater or extender? Thanks!
  16. You can sign up for an account in photobucket, upload there and copy the "forum link" and paste into the text box here.
  17. Woah!! So luxurious. Does everyone in Singapore have so many clothes?? WIWs are so popular. Nicely done, love the drawers under the Windows
  18. Don't really know what you mean by this comment? Nothing to do with 3R or not or budget or not la... Do until ownself happy can alre. Who says must spend a lot on reno?... Mine is Hansgrohe, not Grohe. Taps not much cheaper as I've mentioned, but shower sets during offer is not too bad.
  19. Haha!! Wanna die alre loh. Still not done unpacking and cleaning. Hopefully tomorrow can be done. Need to get back to work 😂 Yeah, no soft furnishing don't feel like a home leh! Need pictures and art and flowers!
  20. Yep... He helped because he had time. I used the triple track system. That one is slightly more difficult to set up. He only mounted the "ends" for us and we did the rest (pleating the curtains / helming / fixing the track runners etc).
  21. http://m.intl.taobao.com/detail/detail.html?id=27457788091 https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=38118636882 You're welcome. It's working well. Seems like legit Philips to us and the electrician seems to think so too. Plus, very bright. HTH.
