  1. It is not a very complicated job. any id or contractors can do it for you. otherwise just get a wooden door. sure long lasting price about the same also.
  2. depends on the colour of your terrazzo flooring? some is lighter some is greenish. colour combi is very crucial imo.
  3. those that might be able to combine is those very old type. for eg one toilet for shower and the other for doing your business. then you will notice there is no huge pipe in both toilet, only one. not sure if im right or wrong but definitely subjected to approval from HDB
  4. Without hacking or any tilling works should be quite fast. basically the duration is for carpentry fabrications
  5. RID Uncle, thumbs up for you!! Herman, maybe can give and take? you squeeze them, they give you half F work then try to squeeze you back again. both side also damage. As long as they are honest and don't try to step on you, ID and customer should have a relationship like your friends. End of the day both are happy.
  6. No.2 looks good but wouldn't it cost more? Btw may i ask how did you do those sample layout?
  7. Any feedbacks on those recommended electricians??
  8. IMO. Now ID and contractors are the same. Well in the first place you need to figure out what you need first. Don't be attracted to package for a start. Ask your friend or relatives for recommendation as well. Good Luck!
  9. Chop until become juice already. Get someone else!
  10. cement smooth your kitchen wall. saves you quite a sum.
  11. I think for small items it is still ok. I believe if we put too much stuffs it will still drop. What kind of accessories are you looking to install?
  12. Chandelier for a much more classy and posh look? Best to get something that fits into the theme. Otherwise it will look out of place. With the recessed lighing you will need false ceiling as well so maybe you can design your false ceiling so it won't look so boring.
  13. I don't think so we can do it. Anyone else know? Or how we can go about doing it? But i think you can join two toilets into one thou.
  14. Designs on the internet, some are just 3D and might not even see clearly if there is a fridge base. IMO once you put your fridge up it won't be so obvious. As what i know, the depth of the bottom cabinet is usually 60cm (standard, unless requested) so if the fridge depth is more then that, clearly it will protrude out. I think alot of other people have the same thing as you. Nice choice of colours btw
  15. I've seen a picture of a false ceiling with the hello kitty face (done by the contractor himself) If you have contacts to contractors any picture you show them they would most probably be able to do it!
  16. Cracks seems inevitable due to the movement on the ground. (maybe your neighbour is hacking their floor tiles) If your already have tiles then you would have to hack which is another cost. Otherwise it should be cheaper since its just a layer of cement? Tiles also have different pricing due to their size and design. (then lay on the group with cement) Hope it helps!!
  17. If you wan to ensure the water pressure to be high go get a storage heater. (takes awhile to heat up the water) my friend is using in a new BTO. Im living in a old 3 room with normal shower and the pressure of the water is bad. I was told the only way is to get a storage heater! BUT! you would have to run the hot water lines again. They tell you that it depends on the hdb because they want you to just buy the shower!! haha Just kidding.
  18. Definitely can. Just ask your contractor to make sure that it will be water proof!! It doesn't cost much too if they charge you.
