huhhh... seems like nobody has even tio as sway as me and able to provide and advise. I am on the verge of breaking point to pay the balance and engage other contactors to complete what this id is unable to complete. A waste of money, yes. But dealing with this kind of irresponsible ID who don't even reply text and unable to give dates... gave up. guess the best for now is still llst and wait till end of the yr for them to complete.

Hi guys/gals, Would like to seek advices and options if it is possible to break agreement halfway into the reno? I am looking into to stop all current works being done by my the ID/contractors (since almost all the time they are not doing anything) and seek new ID/contractors to complete what was not done yet. The reason is due to very very slow progress and not up to my standard workmanship. This is the first time I am buying a resale hse and have no experience on reno but I do see all my friends and relatives reno is quite fast. To be fair, i engaged a relative who is working as sales in the ID firm to do my hse and was able to get so called "contractor pricing". I do understand that paying peanut and get peanut in return so I do not mind a bit of delay here and there but now I am finding it is a bit too much. Greed by the this so called "contractor price" was indeed the start of my nightmare. I have to oversee everythings and this is the first time that I have to actually micromanage in my whole life. Even when I already pointed upfront what I wanted but still didn't have it done in the end. Background: Collected keys on 20June, started work around early july and till today still uncomplete. Things to be done: 1) Paint whole hse (95% Completed) 2) Hack 1 toilet wall (Completed) 3) Change all wc, vanity top and bathroom accessories (Removed all existing wc & vanity top but only installed 1 wc) 4) Lay bathtub support and install bathtub (0% Completed) 4) Kitchen cabinet (Left only countertop and sink) 5) Shoes cabinet (Complete) 6) 5 veneer doors (0% Completed, added on item few weeks ago)

shouldn't be any issue, just that sea freight might be quite expensive for such a large item.

I went to local philips showroom to check the pricing and have a feel to see the actual products. Also went to their recent sales, but they either do not sell the model or the model I want but with warm white only. I only want cool white color temp. The price for the led 22w ceiling was quite tempting, 2 pcs for 150 but too bad only in warm white. For cool white will have to go their showroom to buy but the sales person was kind enuff to give a voucher for 15% discount to buy from their showroom. Even after 15% discount calculation, I found tb to be more cheaper. BTW, from their showroom and sales I had checked that those lights also made in China.

Usa Kitchen Faucet Thread Size Not Correctly?
spectral replied to cclim11's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
Thanks, this is very helpful. I am facing the same issue with 3/8NPT for my hansgrohe faucet too, went around to find 3/8 to 1/2 and finally found it but the 3/8 wouldn't fit into the hose and realized it is not G3/8 but 3/8 NPT. Will make a trip down soon to buy the reducer. Cheer! -
