    Hacking done! Well I wanted to hack the wall between service yard and kitchen but so far the permit for that not approved yet. But Mr Foo went ahead to get the rest hacked first. Wall between kitchen and living area. Only hacked 1 side. Will be replaced with glass sliding door. Wall between master and common bedroom. Tomorrow going to go through the electrical and lighting points with Mr Foo. Then my MIL tells me that cannot put lights above the bed because she said will go hospital frequently or something. What??? I've never heard of this before. If don't put light above the bed then put where? I don't like my room to be dark. Right now the hub's room is quite dim and I really don't like it. I will be having bedside lighting of course, but the room definitely needs a ceiling light as well. Not to mention I already bought the bedroom ceiling lights which are the transparent bulbs...

    This desk was only $20+. Figured if it didn't turn out well it's only $20+ anyway. Got it in white frame and white wood. Lounge chair for the living area. Fingers crossed that this comes in the right color and in good condition. Fans because I'm not using ceiling fans

Although there is a teeny scratch in the middle of the acrylic (from the picture you can see it's near the 25) and the flipping mechanism was a bit stuck when I first received it.

    Yep I think I saw the Dulton clock, I like Dulton items, I think they fit for both scandi and industrial looks! For me I got the fridge magnet timer.

    Hi Song, I haven't tried with battery yet but when I received the clock and was flipping manually, yes the date card was a bit stuck. I was scared if I flipped it too hard something might break but after fiddling for a while, the gear became smooth. But it's now packed away so maybe the next time I take it out, it might get stuck again.

    Some stuff that I ordered from taobao through agent and have received. Now I'm ordering directly myself and using Amcon. So far have ordered close to 3k worth! Flip clock Bodum glasses Dulton dustpan, thought the color would be whiter instead of cream My favorite purchase so far...this faux deer head. I was eyeing some on Etsy previously because didn't see in taobao, then lo and behold, the lighting shops started carrying this!

    Went to pick out tiles yesterday with Mr Foo. Pretty quick process because I'm only doing the bathroom and the kitchen and I already knew what tiles I wanted. For bathroom, on one wall with a black border and the rest of the walls cement screed. For the kitchen, half height subway tiled backsplash, the top of the wall will be cement screed After measuring my bathroom sink area, I realized that the sink that I wanted to get would be too big, hence had to rethink the vanity area. After much thought, finally decided on re-creating this vanity solution with a similar sink from taobao and the Ikea grundtal trolley. The dimensions should be just nice to fit the Ikea grundtal trolley in the corner of the bathroom to house all those extra toilet paper and toothbrushes etc. Right now, waiting for my hacking permit to be approved. It's been a week already!

    Hi OceanEleven, Did the Sellena seller take very long to ship your sink out? Also, can we tell Amcon to consolidate and ship the packages even though there may be some that haven't reach yet? Cos I ordered a chair that the seller page says will ship after 30 days. But I think I wanna ship the other packages here first. And the chair ship later when it arrives at their warehouse.
