Twistie, I too face the same problem with my current Amasco ceiling fan. I purchased it in 2012 The fan at times will have random 'clicking' sounds and the speed has become very slow on a couple of occasions. I called up their servicing and when their man came down, he said the fan has got no problems and insisted to collect money from me for doing nothing. I am currently looking at changing to Acorn as I heard good reviews about this fan.

Hi all, Yesterday I went down to a shop at Jalan Besar called New World Lighting to look for Acorn ceiling fans as I find the designs very nice. But I was told by the shop that they have to stop selling that brand because it is not an approved fan in Singapore. I also walked into other shops in Jalan Besar and they told me the same thing. Can anyone confirm this because I am keen on getting this fan. Thanks
