Well, just another resident in TL. All the best in your renovation!
-
Hi,I am not aware of how much knowledge you have of the penthouse units in TL, but they are certainly unlike those thousands u can find in other mature estates. The penthouse units in TL have horizontal RC trellis forming the "roof", making them somewhat open through-to-sky kind. In case you do not know, the photo below can give you an inkling of the unit. When it rains, the whole open-terrace will be wet rendering it useless. Unlike the thousands of units u had mentioned earlier, besides the vertical plane from which rain can enter, the penthouse unit owners will also need to take care of the openings at the top.
-
Coz i can see you guys. Not special when it rains, really.
-
But i wonder when the reno gonna start. Almost every other day they visit their unit.
-
It will be quite a hassle when it rains at the open terrace.
-
does the other loft units have an open terrace/balcony like those in Treelodge?
-
So do u intend to cover the RC trellis at ur open terrace area? To prevent rainwater from dropping?

My dad's house uses Ariston too and i didnt have any issues with water flowrate and pressure. Cold water line is slightly better than the hot line.
-
Hi Sir, Thank you for the prompt reply. You are right, that was my suspicion. But since u said that 1/2" is not an issue, guess the problem lies elsehwhere. To get a good pressure/flowrate, i have to switch on the heater for a period of time b4 shower, hear the water rumble as though being heated/filled-up, and can only shower once the noise stops. If i were to shower when the noise/rumbling are there, for sure my rain shower will be almost redundant. Any way around this?

I do not have a constant water flow and this irks me at times. Anyone can advise if the setup below is correct? In short, what i am trying to illustrate here is that, the copper pipes supplied by HDB that runs INTO the wall is 1", but the pipes from HEATER STORAGE TANK TO HDB PIPES is 3/4", or 1/2". Is this rite?

C4** is HD-Ready right? Why not get the FHD straight since prices of these TVs are cheap nowadays.

Hi all, My renovation work is almost completed except for some touch-ups. Only one thing to enquire which i hope someone can kindly comment. My granite kitchen top turns 90deg at the edge, and hence there is a visible line where the 2 pieces of granite are fused/glued/sticked/plastered together. But these lines are not present at my in-laws' house n my sis-in-law's house. Theirs are 1 piece monolithic block. Length-wise, mine is around the same length as theirs... not double or triple the length. What i mean is illustrated below in the photos, where the top turns. This is not my kitchen. My question is, should the top be of 2 pieces of granite fused together, or 1 big piece put on top? Any comment is appreciated.

Its the Treelodge unit. No pics with me now.

Hi, I got a HDB loft, so am thinking of doing up a mezzanine level.
-
No one knows?
-
Hi all gurus, Would it be possible to do a mezzanine floor for those living in a loft unit? Would it be violating any HDB rules? Examples would be like below.
