totally agree!!! My place is like 60% complete due to budget and work doesn't help . so adding bits a little at a time. do envy the rest where everything is done to the tee and complete.... -

Oh, can show them? My ID was against having laminated cabinets at my balcony. I wanted to do some shelving to create a laundry are. my balcony gets full force of the rain lol, 3/4 of the flooring will be wet but it dries really fast as well -

Thanks cleong!! I will install them for the room doors. Does anyone have 2 aircon compressors for their Gen 2 units? Pondering if I should install fan or aircon for the ground floor room. -
Good!! Going to have it setup for my girl's bedroom and probably install additional adjacent to the current ones. If you are having baskets then need to align the brackets very carefully. if you are only using the hanging rods and shelves, then no issues. I dislike folding so this is somewhat like a dream

But I have 148 sqm and not 150++ type.... Ya having own private chute is actually much easier. Which areas have the Gen 4? I have 3 rain showers but the usage is reasonable. My electricity is the one which takes most because of the aircon i think? Cleong, where can I get Install rubber/plastic gaskets? Moved in 4 months and still trying to work out what to do with the house *lol* -

how much is your bill each month? So far mine is manageable. What I did do was to have LED lights for the entire house. -
It was FOC and so far gaming has been decent so all good!

Accessories Time for my Girl's Bathrooms! Bought 2 of these from IKEA. Not listed bathroom mirrors but who cares Like the design but colour isn't suitable so need to figure how to change the colours. Also bought this to test water if it actually works and it does!! 1 week and all good For $9.90 it does serve it's purpose and also don't need to drill my tiles in the 2nd bathroom. Intending to get the rest of the range to kit out the bathroom.

Master bathroom Partial Updates - Furnishing and my mixer for my rain shower is pending for Taobao. The mixer was faulty so has to re-order a new one. haven't had the chance to use the bath tub yet!! hehehe time to scour for bath salts Towel bars at the back of the door. I don't like to drill into my pretty tiles so the door had to sacrifice instead They were from IKEA at $7 each I think. Shaving Mirror and my Black Mirror from Amazon UK up! the toilet roll holder is from IKEA too and fits my Bathroom theme Quite sad about my rain shower. using the handshower for now and can't wait for the complete look. Window looks scruffy but to replace means more moolah so need to think cheap creatively on how to make it look nicer

Let me get hold of a measuring tape. Think it is roughly about 1.5m by 1m? I used the corner of the kitchen. is your kitchen design the same as mine? The blue line, that is where the pantry cuts off. so it is snug at a corner without taking much space.

Hi Panda189! Oh ok, Qoo10 is selling at 23.90 for the 2 Tier i think... so double of TB.... I think it is tougher to be cheaper than Taobao If TB it does take a while to arrive though...

Disaster Strikes! My Taobao mixer Tap went AWOL , Don't it it a quality issue as the person using it didn't know how to turn the tap and ended over-turning it. What resulted was endless flow of water from the tap. ID arranged for his plumber to shut off while I get a new tap. BUT BUT!! hehehe I have launched my Kitchen with cooking dinner and breakfast hehehehe Verdict on the Ellane Stove: It is really powerful! Definitely stronger than my previous Fujioh. Though small, I can see why it is popular, the spacing is actually sufficient and the big hob placed in means it doesn't get in your way when handling dishes from the other 2 right hobs.

Pantry Update - Completed! Furnishing - 50% I have no regrets for segmenting a space for my pantry as it totally clears my counter top from appliances The tall gap in between is to place my steamer and table top oven. I saw something on Qoo10 which will be an perfect addition to my pantry for my sauces. If you noticed, they are like Kings and Queens with high ceiling Starting to like the pantry without door as it makes it accessible but I do really want to have my sliding door so one step at a time. $$$ doesn't seem to fly by so easily. So there it is , my pantry with modest and humble items in it The kitchen Shelf I intend to get

Kitchen Update - Completed! Furnishing - 40% Completion Gas was turned on today! Woo Hoo!! The Ellane stove was suggested by Wasser Bath and apparently "Aunties" (please don't get offended) loves Ellane because of the stronger flames which is good for cooking. I have a short counter top so this was the best option I had. It is 68cm and has 3 hobs. I did want something with a white glass but their sizes are 75 - 78 cm which means my counter top space will be taken up. The sun shines in to my kitchen which was why I knocked down the wall and it comes straight to my sink! *Love again* and to my mini Herb garden at my ceiling pot rack. This was what I imagined for my kitchen and I am so happy it came out so much better than I expected

Hello!! My aircon is still leaking as I can't find my invoice I did a check and it seems that it only leaks when my aircon is turned on. It doesn't leak if the other 2 air con are turned on .Hoping to find my invoice this weekend amongst my boxes

Thanks PrincessT ! Most of the renovation has been completed except for a hole in my kitchen ceiling. It is my doing as I wanted to have this ceiling rack last minute. Now is furnishing time which is a big big slow project

I have my appointment on Monday too! Can't wait to be able to use my kitchen functionally hehehe! Hmmm, if the water pressure is slow you should contact HDB on it. Sometimes it could either the pressure outside or could be the pipes inside the house. I re-do all the pipes in the bathroom to make sure I don't have water flow problems since I have 3 rain showers

My Budget Walk in Ward robe! Purchased IKEA Algot System and was hoping to pull it off. So far it looks pretty decent to me , couldn't have it on the opposite wall since it is a board wall. Need to crack my head even more Need to slowly furnish up the ward robe and make it more presentable (SAME WITH THE REST OF THE HOUSE )

Kitchen Nightmare! I was wanting to post this but didn't have the time. When installing my kitchen tap, it was noticed that the draining wasn't that fast so the plumber went to check the drainage pipes. The drainage pipes were choked with solidified oil which reeked!! Poor guys, they removed it and clean it out! After that the water pressure and draining was so much better! Was informed by the plumber that resale and older units has this problem if the previous owners tend to pour oil down the pipes. So kind of "lucky" that this was found out before I had all my kitchen ware into the cabinets. Had to air the smell out and wipe.mop the floor for 2 days before it was normal again.
