Chunky..u r very neat! even printed out those stickers label. I only print out using normal paper and paste them on the box. I hope u got some help in clearing those boxes.. it is alot of clear for one person..

Hi KM8, if u dun mind my 2cents worth.. do not recommend to hack away kitchen - unless u guys dun cook or even if cook, will not involve frying. my personal experience, during V day, hubby prepared pork chop with potato croquettes.. kitchen is very smoky and oily due to all the deep frying - luckily i have a sliding door to separate living with kitchen but still the kitchen floor is oily, hence step all over the house, also oily!! if u have open kitchen concept, think of what it will do to all ur sofa,etc.. the smell may be nice initially but overnight food smell on fabric is a NO NO.. hope it help!! Congrats on ur key collection..

ur unit is quite big considering it is only a 4-room flat.. dun even need to hack away one room to have walk in wardrobe.. happy for u

sorry for the late reply.. i bot the coffee table with other stuff - total of 4 pcs of furniture for $4K.. the coffee table is a waste! Only after they deliver, realised that it is way too big for our living room. Now i turn it to my study table..haha Did not post up the renovation progress regularly and diligently.. so here is some of the missing pix! Officially moved in on 5th Jan 2008! So far so good.. left tempered glass door for study room yet to be delivered. opinion needed from others: See the pix below, you tink the sink is too near the wall?? I personally feel that it is way tooooo near! Everytime i brush my teeth, i get backache cos i need to bend so low, so that the water dun drip everywhere..then i end up knocking my head on the mirror. Checked with the contractor, he said tis is the usual way of doing sink! I told him NO!! suppose to fix it for me. Am I correct? Other than this.. pretty impressed with the workmanship and professionalism of those guys! They actually worked till 11plus nite to finish painting and cleaning. I did minimal cleaning..

Actually dun need to be in single receipt. If u buy more than $5K, ask the cashier to split into 2 bills lor.. can get 2 tickets. But the tickets is only worth $76 each and the fare to BKK now is abt $200++ per person, so still need to top up.. worth it meh?? If not because my fren got a good deal at HN, i will get my goods from neighbourhood shop.

wayne..how much did u spend on ur lightings? Notice that you have quite a fair bit of cove lighting and downlights.. u tink if i buy those ikea table meant for kitchen (which can be kept away), can be used for ironing? My washing area has an extra recess area..tot dun waste it..hehe

Day 15 of reno Finally, the kitchen tiles are up! All tiling work are done..tmr will need to discuss with ID on what is the next progress Both me n dear lurve these tiles...blown away.. Common toilet wall n floor tiles are all done up Master bathroom wall n floor tiles are up - wall where vanity table will be. Wire are ready for lights

Hi there.. we told them to remove the tiles cos it is veri 'orbit'..haha..cleaning will be a chore too! U know..he took us to buy lights n kitchenware n toiletware.. spent $5K in a day..wonder did i get chopped?

Day 11 of reno Tiles are all up except for kitchen.. the workmanship is good. All tiles are laid neatly but hv yet to fill up the grout. I will post up the pictures later tonite.. Things are progressing well but worried we can get our keys back by year end.. fingers crossed!!

yeah yeah..punggol as well. Me too hacking away the wall and replace wih glass. that will be study room. we are also hacking away the balcony and leveling it up to the living room so that it is more spacious. my current unit if dun hack away the wall, very dark even in the afternoon.. which block r u in? do u hv the 3d layout for the study room?
