Hi Mr Chong, I will reconfirm the directions ASAP, had a hard time cos i'm not sure how to read the compass. Which is the best position for bed placing? Is it better to place it facing the window? My new dr will be as per the drawing, is it ok? It's very tight for the dr to be placed near the wardrobes. I would like to install ceiling fan in the children's bedroom, is it ok? Thanks

My compass is not like that one leh, mine cannot adjust the housing and fix the north, so i guess i hv to find the north first then gauage the other directions by changing my facing position. Thanks ya

U confusing me leh, u said the compass pointing to the N, meaning the red needle must be pointing to N at the same time or just stand with the letter N in front of me iregardless of whether the needle is on N?

So the compass must always hv the red needle pointing N, then i gauage the direction of dr facing while standing looking at the dr without moving my compass rite?so i shd use the first method in my posting?

Hi, I'm really lost at how to use the compass, I shd first let the compass find the North first then hold it still(letting the compass face north all times) and then turn myself facing the direction i wanna know and roughly gage the facing rite? Or shd i hold the compass with the N in front of me, iregardless of whether the needle is pointing N ah? Paisei, can someone enlighten me

Hi Mr Chong, On the website with layout , under the pic, u can click on the size to enlarge the photo (highlighted in blue, 1000 x 727), basically, i hv an inverted L shape cabinet on the left side of the kitchen, the sink is at the shorter part of the L while the stove is at the longer part of the L . on the opposite recess wall, i have a tall cabinet which houses the oven and then beside it will be a fridge.If the oven shd not be opposite the sink, then maybe i shd change the position of the tall cabinet with the fridge, so that the fridge will face the sink and the oven will face the stove? http://adchroma.multiply.com/photos/photo/5/24 As for the bedroom, the current entrance of the Mbr is through the kitchen, so the pic was taken from the dr, the current bed faces the windows, so they sleep with their feet facing windows . My current plan is to relocate the bed head rest against the same wall where the clock is hanging. Thanks MaCe, now i know how to take the reading liao Will it help if i build another wall beside the existing one so that the MBR does not share a wall with the kitchen? Or is there any way to rectify the problem?

Hi, Can someone enlighten me on how to take the correct compass readings? Step 1: To take a reading from the dr, so i shd stand with the compass facing towards the dr? Or with my back against the dr facing inwards. Then take 3 steps back and take another reading? Step 2: Stand at the side with the most windows, so again i shd stand facing towards the windows? or with my back against the window facing my living room? Yes, i would like your advice on the furniture placing especially for the kitchen since its sharing same wall with MBR.When u say it's not good for the man of the hse, does it mean more on the financial or health aspects? Is it ok for the oven to be opposite the sink?
